RACE 1 – SOUTHERN CENTRAL ENGINEERING PACE – 1758 metres
THATS THE ATTITUDE – Post-race swab sampled.
BEAU BROWN – Pre-race swab sampled.
WONGALEA MEG – Locked wheels with during the early part of the score-up.
KEAYANG ALEX – Locked wheels with during the early part of the score-up.
RACE 2 – SYMTEK ELECTRICAL PACE – 1758 metres
SOMEBODYS GIRL – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
ERNIELOVENBOY – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
CRACKER MISS – Driver J Kahlefeldt momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky rest near the 50 metres.
MOST CERTAIN MICKY – Commenced to lose ground from near the 600 metres and tired over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying signs of tying-up. Stewards acting on Veterinary advice, advised connections the mare would be stood down from racing for seven days.
RACE 3 – BANG ON FABRICATORS PACE – 1758 metres
SHEZ BETTORS BABE – Trainer/Driver B Hogan was questioned regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, he stated that he shifted out from his position with cover on the marker pegs leaving the 1400 metres in the hope of getting the one-out one-back position behind RETURN SERVE, which was racing three wide at that point, but that did not eventuate when that runner restrained to obtain a position with cover towards the rear of the field. He added that his mare then sucked wind mid-race, which she had not done for some time which resulted in her not performing as well as he had expected her to in tonight’s field.

CARMEN ON BLING – Pre-race swab sampled.
PIRANI PRINCESS – Contacted the sulky wheel of MISS ARDLETHAN entering the first turn, when that runner shifted-in, and was checked and broke gait.
MISS ARDLETHAN – Sulky wheel contacted by PIRANI PRINCESS entering the first turn. At a subsequent inquiry, Driver T Pilon pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that entering the first turn, he permitted his runner to shift in when not sufficiently clear of PIRANI PRINCESS which was tightened for room, contacted his sulky wheel and was checked and broke gait, as a result of PIRANI PRINCESS galloping HESHARLEY was checked and broke gait. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account T Pilon’s guilty plea, his driving record and the particular circumstances of the incident. Driver T Pilon had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of 28 days.
HESHARLEY – Checked and broke gait entering the first turn when PIRANI PRINCESS broke gait.
RACE 4 – WASHINGTON'S FURNITURE PACE – 1758 metres
MURPHYS REWARD NZ – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.
MIRADOR LASS – Post-race swab sampled.
CHEEZ – Inconvenienced behind the tiring MURPHYS REWARD NZ near the 400 metres.
IM ALRITE – Pre-race swab sampled. Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
RACE 5 – L & D BOWLING CLUB LADYSHIP PACE – 1758 metres
OUR WILD IRISH ROSE NZ – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.
KEAYANG LADYBUG – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.
PERSONIFIED – Post-race swab sampled.
TAPANGA MISS – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
ROSIE POLLEN – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 6 – GOLDEN APPLE PACE – 1758 metres
DIDNT I – Pre-race swab sampled. Driver J Kahlefeldt was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum sectional time requirements for the first half of the last mile while leading.
ONE HORN BILLY – Inconvenienced near the 100 metres when BILLEES JET broke gait.
ALISKI – Inconvenienced behind the tiring ULTIMATE ME NZ approaching the 200 metres.
BILLEES JET – Broke gait under pressure approaching the 100 metres, given the mare’s record connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.
GLAMORS SYMBOL – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start. Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 7 – YENDA PRODUCERS PACE – 1758 metres
ATWORTHY ROCKER – Post-race swab sampled.
ROMEGHAN – Tired over the concluding stages. A post-race Veterinary examination, revealed the filly to be lame in the near fore leg due to a suspensory tendon injury. Connections were advised that they would be required to provide a Veterinary certificate of fitness for it prior to its next race start.
MILOLA ROCK – As R Maguire was unable to drive at the meeting due to injury, S Hallcroft was a late replacement Driver of the filly. R Maguire was advised that he would be required to provide a medical certificate of fitness prior to his next race drive.
CAULONIA BELLA – Pre-race swab sampled.
WONGALEA YANK – Hung-out and raced roughly approaching the 600 metres. Hung-out and broke gait approaching the 200 metres, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance to race truly. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed it to have a superficial laceration to its off-fore medial pastern.
RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1758 metres
MAGGIEJAYNE – Raced greenly and hung-in near the 1400 metres and as a result contacted marker pegs, connections were advised the filly would be placed on its last chance to race truly. Post-race swab sampled.
SEVENTH IMMORTAL – Dropped its near-side knee boot near the 200 metres.
MAJOR TRANSPARENCY – Driver M Towers was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight.
LILLY ANNE – Hung-in and contacted a marker peg rounding the home turn.
MY UPTOWN GIRL – Broke gait during the score-up, for which a warning was issued.
GOOD TALK – Pre-race swab sampled. Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, connections were advised that it would continue to be placed outside the draw in mobile start races.
