RACE 1 – RED LEAF WHOLESALE NURSERY TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
PESCO POLLO – Became unbalanced and galloped during the score up for which a warning was issued. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.
EWING – Galloped out at the start and shifted up the track locking wheels with ITZ TRIXTON TIME NZ and as a result both runners were severely checked when being eased down to a stand still to unlock wheels. In view of the tractability of EWING a warning was issued.
ITZ TRIXTON TIME NZ – Severely checked and locked wheels after the start with EWING when that runner galloped and shifted up the track to its inside.
KYVALLEY MICHAEL NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Galloped out at the start for which a warning was issued. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 14.6 metres and finished in 7th position ($2.40 fav). Driver Mr B Fitzpatrick explained that after speaking with Trainer B Lilley post-race, connections will look to return the horse to Victoria and may spell the horse. Mr Fitzpatrick explained he was not disappointed in the performance of the horse considering the early mistake.
RACE 2 – LEFTER BOWER COFFEE SUTHERLAND PACE – 1609 metres
BE MY ROCK – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1250 metres.
MICHAEL CAINE NZ – Post-race swab sample.
WILL I AM – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1150 metres.
RACE 3 – TAB PACE – 1609 metres
A VAPAR STORM – Pre-race blood sample.
AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1100 metres.
SYLVIA KAY NZ – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1250 metres.
MISTER JONES NZ – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metres
SPARKLING SEA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO C&G HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metres
COVERED IN GOLD – Pre-race blood sample. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 66.1 metres and finished in 10th position.
SAN SEBASTIAN – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing to declare himself as the driver by the prescribed time. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 62.3 metres and finished in 9th position.
NOCTURNAL – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1000 metres.
HOLLYWOOD STRIP – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 900 metres. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres
SHARK DANCER – Hampered passing the 350 metres when LARRIKIN LENNY was taken up the track to its inside. It was reported following the event the gelding broke its number 2 carrying strap.
LARRIKIN LENNY – Driver R Morris was issued a reprimand under Rue 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that passing the 350 metres he has allowed LARRIKIN LENNY to shift up the track without being clear of SHARK DANCER and as a result SHARK DANCER was taken wider towards the running of THERES WALLY resulting in those runners locking wheels momentarily and THERES WALLY being checked and galloped. In not taking more severe action, Stewards were mindful that as Mr Morris commenced to move LARRIKIN LENNY wider on the track SNOW HUNTER, which was racing forward of him, had shifted ground in front of his drive.
STARTIN TO GOGH – Pre-race blood sample.
SNOW HUNTER – Broke during the score up for which a warning was issued. Driver J Meikle was cautioned in relation to shifting ground passing the 350 metres.
THERES WALLY – Checked and broke when locking wheels with SHARK DANCER passing the 350 metres when LARRIKIN LENNY was shifted up the track without the required clearance.
LIEUTENANT ARDEN NZ – Post-race swab sample.
LE TWIST NZ – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.
RACE 7 – CONDELL PARK PRODUCE PACE – 1609 metres
SINALOA – Hung out in the home straight on the final occasion for which a warning was issued.
BALTUSROL – Pre-race blood sample. Hampered in the home straight when being taken wider by SINALOA when that runner was shifting ground. As a result was taken into the running of VINKE B NZ causing the offside wheel of BALTUSROL to contact the legs of VINKE B NZ momentarily.
OUR UNCLE JIM – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination.
VINKE B NZ – Improved three wide from the 1000 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader leaving the 900 metres. Hampered and contacted the offside sulky wheel of BALTUSROL passing the 100 metres when SINALOA was hanging out under pressure carrying BALTUSROL into the running of VINKE B NZ.
PERUN NZ – Post-race swab sample.
CORBIE STUMBLER – Trainer J Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing to declare C Geary by the prescribed time. Caught racing three wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres.
OUTSIDE FIGHTER - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination.
RACE 8 – MENANGLE PARK PACE – 1609 metres
JORDY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
MACH DA VINCI NZ – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
UNFAZED NZ – Post-race swab sample.
SKYLORD – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1100 metres. Leaving the 200 metres was taken down the track marginally as SAHARA SIROCCO improved past that runner.
MONTALBANO – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight until leaving the 200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 4 – D M PLUMBING PACE – 1609 metres
YOU STICK WITH ME NZ – Driver J Grimson was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that in the home straight n the final occasion he has applied his whip in the early stages of the home straight in more than a wrist only flicking motion.
