Panella making her mark

27 November 2020

HAVING dominated the Mini Trotting ranks for several years, novice driver Grace Panella is making her mark on the racing scene.

The 18-year-old landed three winners this past week and has already secured 10 wins since she began driving in March this year.
The younger sister of accomplished reinswoman Lauren Tritton, Panella has four drives at Newcastle tonight which includes drives for the region’s top trainers Clayton Harmey and Roy Roots junior.
Meanwhile, south of state at Young, New South Wales’ top female driver Amanda Turnbull makes her return having been in Victoria for several months.
Turnbull has four of her own horses engaged at the meeting including recent Kilmore winner Shoobee Doo in the Young Cherry Cup (Race 5).
