A grin from ear to ear for young 'Sando'

21 December 2020

UP-and-coming reinsman Ryan Sanderson will head to Goulburn feeling pretty good.

The 17-year-old drove his first double which quickly turned into his first treble at Newcastle last Saturday night.
Sanderson’s milestone was achieved with wins courtesy of Sea Hawke, Collina Kay Jay and Joice Mary.
The former Queenslander that has moved to South West Sydney and also spent time working in Victoria, has two drives today.
Trainer Kerry McDowell has Sanderson engaged on Cherokee Warrior in Race 5 while conditioner Leon Jurd has the young driver on Nitro Lad in Race 8.
He has also locked in a drive for Jurd at Menangle on Tuesday on Get Ready To Rock, which will be the last meeting at Menangle for 2020.
Sanderson began his driving career in June 2019 and has driven 20 winners to date.
He recently returned from a 10-month stint working for Victorian horseman David Aiken.
