Jack continues to rise to the top

At just 20 years of age harness racing driver Jack Callaghan is ready to tackle another highlight in his succinct career.

Callaghan has been booked to drive Alta Orlando in New Zealand’s inaugural slot event The Race at Cambridge on April 14.

The $NZ900,000 feature will be the first time Callaghan has driven outside of Australia.

It was only in January that Callaghan had his first interstate success when winning the Bendigo Cup in Victoria with Spirit Of St Louis.

Callaghan will drive Alta Orlando at Menangle tonight as the pair prepare for their NZ quest.

The 10-year-old pacer has won his last two starts with Callaghan at the reins.

Callaghan has a busy night ahead with drives in six of the eight races.

He has accumulated 322 wins since he began driving in the 2017/18 season.
