Winning roll to continue at Coolamon

18 April 2022

Goulburn horseman Brad Hewitt will be looking to continue his winning roll at Coolamon today.

Just last week he trained 300 winners thanks to Arma Renegade’s success at Riverina Paceway on April 10.
The 31-year-old quickly made it 301 training wins with Group 1 victory in the Riverina Championship with Yarraman Bella on Saturday night.
That was Hewitt’s second Group 1 training success with Send It his first training win at that level in last year’s TAB Regional State Final at Menangle.
It was Hewitt’s third Group 1 win as a driver.
Hewitt has driven 576 winners and has has three drives today, including on two pacers he trains in the main features on the card.
Rockin With Elvis has drawn barrier four for Hewitt in the Coolamon Cup.
The eight-time winner is first up since December last year.
Hewitt also has Our Lady Lara in a heat of the Menangle Country Series, drawn in barrier two.
The reinsman will also steer Elegantdancer in race one, a maiden pacer that is trained by his father David Hewitt.
