KerryAnn chasing Premiership lead

Menangle horsewoman KerryAnn Morris will make a strong claim to regain the lead in the New South Wales Trainers’ Premiership tonight.

Morris is just three wins behind the leading trainer, Jack Trainor, with 39 wins to her credit this year.

With power in numbers at Penrith tonight, Morris has five chances to take the lead in the tally with Trainor only having the one horse engaged.

Trainor has one of the main fancies in race five, Ideal In Dreams.

Meanwhile, Morris has her team engaged across the first four races.

They are Money Honey in race one, Pay Me Overs in race two, Miss Daytona in race three with Polka Delight and Bettor To Be Tricky giving Morris a two-pronged attack in race four.

Morris’ stable suffered a blow this week with the news talented trotter Funky Monkey will be sidelined for several months due to a suspensory ligament injury.
