Mel Loves Lou

2 December 2022

Having recently tipped over 50 winners in her career trainer Melanie Elder is hoping to end the season on a high.

The 27-year-old mentor has her consistent two-year-old Love Lou aimed at the NSW Breeders Challenge Regional series and the gelding faces a heat tonight at Newcastle.
Love Lou has won four of his six starts to date, including his last two starts that included a career best performance where he clocked 1:55.2.
Meanwhile, top NSW trainer KerryAnn Morris has a two-pronged attack in the two-year-old fillies’ heat with maiden pacers Screenshot and Vinette.
Morris is currently campaigning in Victoria and has two horses aimed at the Inter Dominion series.
This includes Petes Said So that ran an eye-catching fifth in his Inter Dominion heat at Shepparton on Tuesday.
The last round of Inter Dominion heats take place at Geelong on Saturday night.
