All four regions will be in play during a blockbuster 34-hour window of points scoring for Fantasy Harness Racing players on Friday and Saturday.
Race meetings at Bathurst, Newcastle, Tabcorp Park Menangle and Junee will deliver an entertaining and intriguing points-spree with the majority of the game’s drivers in action on tracks across the state.
The action commences at Bathurst with a rare Friday afternoon program that will see the Western region’s highest points-scorer Nathan Turnbull line-up with several highly-fancied hopes.
The racing schedule then moves immediately on to Newcastle, kick-starting with last week’s leading points-scorer Cameron Hart steering early favourite Van Gogh for trainer Darren Elder.
Hart will be joined on the Hunter’s primary track tonight by heavily-priced Metropolitan drivers Jack Callaghan, Robert Morris and Josh Gallagher.
With nine races on the program there are plenty of points up for grabs.
Round 3 will conclude with race meetings at Tabcorp Park Menangle and Junee highlighting a busy Saturday night in the Metropolitan and Riverina regions.
The Junee Harness Racing Club will be hosting its annual Carnival of Cups meeting, which will include the Phoenix Accounting and Business Services Junee Pacers Cup.
The feature will carry extra significance for Fantasy Harness Racing players with double points on offer.
Leading Riverina drivers Jackson Painting, Blake Jones, Peter McRae and Taylah Osmond are among the prominent local hopes, while Nathan Turnbull has a strong fleet of nominations taking part on the night.
At the state’s principal track, the Metropolitan’s finest will all be on display when an eight race card commences at Tabcorp Park Menangle at 6:25pm.
An elite Carnival quality program will be contested with several of the early market favourites for this year’s Miracle Mile on show.
