KerryAnn on a Newcasle Cup crusade

3 February 2023

TEAM Teal ambassador KerryAnn Morris will be hoping to add a big win to the cause at Newcastle’s TAB Carnival of Cups meeting tonight.

Morris, who has been an ambassador for a number of years, will be taking the reins on Ziggy Rocks in tonight’s Newcastle Cup.
Morris has dual runners in the feature with the in-form Petes Said So who will be driven by Morris’ husband Robert.
Fellow Team Teal ambassadors Melanie Elder and Belinda McCarthy also have starters in the $35,000 event with Ashark and To Fast To Serious, respectively.
Local horsewoman Lisa McDonald has Master Catch engaged who is in a purple patch of form winning his last four starts.
Since the beginning of the month lady drivers across Australasia have been wearing teal-coloured pants to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support women with ovarian cancer.
Each time a female trained and/or driven horse wins in NSW, HRNSW will donate $200 plus an additional $200 for every ambassador trained and/or driven winner to WomenCan.
