Rattray on a roll to 500

From the Miracle Mile, Inter Dominion, Breeders Challenge and the Len Smith Mile, James Rattray has won all the major features at Menangle.

The 37-year-old added to this list of credits winning the TAB Regional Championships Metropolitan Final with Gordons Bay on Saturday night.

The success in the $100,000 feature pushed Rattray’s career wins to 497.

With three drives at Menangle today, Rattray is on the search to reach 500 winners.

Rattray will team up with trainers Joe and Mary Rando to drive Lady In The Sky in race two.

He then has two drives for trainer Brad Abbott on The Golden Cross in race six and evergreen pacer Don Boston in race eight.

It has been a big month off the track for Rattray too, recently welcoming the birth of his daughter Estelle.
