Eureka looms for gifted three-year-old

15 June 2023

Talented pacer Naturally Gifted is making his debut for Jack Trainor’s stable at Penrith tonight.

Recently purchased by an overseas interest for a six-figure sum, Naturally Gifted has not raced since finishing third-placed in the Renshaw Cup at Penrith on April 6.
The three-year-old stepped out for Trainor at the Menangle trials recently, winning the hit-out in 1:52.2– faster than his official personal best winning time.
Trainor revealed there has been interest in the pacer for the TAB Eureka on September 2.
“There’s been a little bit of talk, nothing official, the Singleton team have reached out to us, they are keeping a close eye on him and like the fact that he is a three-year-old,” said Trainor.
John Singleton is one of the 10 slot holders of the Eureka.
