Race 1, PICCADILLY POP

Follow up report – Bathurst 19 May 2021

RACE 1 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 1730 metres

PICCADILLY POP – Trainer R Camilleri advised Stewards that following the above mentioned race PICCADILLY POP has recovered well and was cleared by his local veterinarian.  Mr Camilleri stated that the horse had trialled at Penrith on 26 May 2021 but did not perform well and as a consequence blood samples were also obtained and were not to his satisfaction.  Mr Camilleri added that he will now look to change the horse’s diet and address the bloods prior to return to racing.
