RACE 1 – ZOO FM PACE – 1720 metres
GIRL JUST FLY – Post-race swab sample. 
DEBRA JEAN – Pre-race blood sample.  

RACE 2 – REGIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK PACE – 1720 metres
MAJOR JAMANE – Passed required pre-race veterinary examination.  
WARRAWEE FLYER – Post-race swab sample. 
IMPULSIVE GEORGE – Unable to obtain completely clear running in the home straight and went to the finish without being fully tested.
HIGH QUEST – Pre-race blood sample.  Hung in for some distance in the early and middle stages.
MAJIC TULHURST – Made contact with the rear of the sulky of MAJOR JAMANE during the score up and broke stride for a short distance. Subsequently trainer/driver Mr T Inwood was reprimanded under AR 168(1)(a), for allowing MAGIC TULHURST to race onto the back of MAJOR JAMANE.
ZU HOFFEN – Pulled hard during the middle stages and would not settle then was unable to obtain clear running in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

RACE 3 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND LOCAL PACE HEAT 1 – 1720 metres
LENNOX BROMAC NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  
MILLIONDOLLAR KISS – When questioned in relation to the tactics and overall performance, driver N Turnbull explained that he drove in the early stages with the intention to find cover in a forward position, however after being trapped excessively wide rounding the turn after the start he was obliged to restrain for some distance and obtain cover at the rear of the field.  He said that after this he was able to improve rapidly along the marker peg line and raced with cover forward of mid field during the middle stages.  He said that MILLIONDOLLAR KISS travelled well during the race and when attempting to obtain a run on the inside of HILARIOUS GEE in the home straight was continually held up and forced to drive to the finish with restraint.  Subsequently L Burns the trainer/driver of HILARIOUS GEE was reprimanded under AR 163(1)(a)(iii) for allowing that runner to shift inwards continually hampering MILLIONDOLLAR KISS in the home straight.
BORROWED TIME – Post-race swab sample. 

RACE 4 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND LOCAL PACE HEAT 2 – 1720 metres
ERIC THE KICKER – Pre-race blood sample.  When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance, driver N Townsend explained that after driving the gelding in a qualifying trial at Parkes on Sunday, 7 April 2024 he was impressed with the performance and recommended to trainer Mr S Townsend to assume the training of the gelding.  He said that he had been instructed to obtain a forward position on the marker peg line in the early stages and allow the gelding to travel comfortably.  He said that after resisting a challenge in the early stages he established the lead and ERIC THE KICKER travelled well throughout and responded strongly inside the 400 metres.  Trainer M S Townsend confirmed the circumstances whereby ERIC THE KICKER entered his stables and said that whilst ERIC THE KICKER had only been subject to minimal track work during the week he had made changes to its feed regime which he felt enhanced the gelding’s wellbeing.  He said that he intended to continue the preparation and instruct whoever drove ERIC THE KICKER to drive in similar circumstances at all times in the future.  Mr Townsend was advised that prior to concluding this inquiry, further aspects including a full review of the betting transactions on this race would be conducted.  Post-race swab sample. 
ONE MORE ALTA – Fractious in the score up and out of position at the start.  Broke stride free of any external factors after the start and galloped.  Connections were advised that the gelding would now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.  Weakened noticeably over the concluding stages.  Connections were further advised that prior to racing again ONE MORE ALTA must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial.

RACE 5 – TAB VENUE MODE WARATAH HEAT – 1720 metres
PLEASE DONT ASK – Broke stride during the score up and was out of position at the start.  Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record. 
SATELLITE SIMBA – Broke stride free of any external factors entering the back straight on the first occasion and galloped for a short distance.  Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.  When questioned in relation to the performance driver J Reynolds explained that he drove with urgency after the start in an attempt to establish the lead however was unable to do so and was crossed by MARVELLOUS MAC.  He said that entering the back straight on the first occasion he attempted to shift to the outside of MARVELLOUS MAC to again challenge for the lead however the gelding broke stride and galloped.  He said that after this SATELLITE SIMBA failed to travel comfortably and when placed under pressure inside the 600 metres was unresponsive and ran to the finish in a disappointing manner.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. 
MARVELLOUS MAC – Post-race swab sample. 
POTTER – Pre-race blood sample. 
ODINS BLACK CROWS – Pulled hard and was difficult to restrain during the score up then pulled hard for a considerable distance in the middle stages.
BLING THE LUCK – Hung out rounding the turn after the start and entering the back straight, then broke stride free of any external factors and galloped for a short distance.  Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.  Raced in restricted room for some distance in the home straight.

RACE 6 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 2120 metres
ART OF TERROR – Pre-race blood sample.  Broke stride free of any external factors rounding the turn after the start and galloped.  Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the colt’s racing record.  
NIXSUN – When questioned in relation to the performance, trainer/driver Mr M Day Jnr explained that after being driven with urgency in the early stages in an attempt to establish the lead, NIXSUN was unable to achieve this and after being forced to race outside the lead, over raced for some distance, then when placed under pressure inside the 700 metres became unresponsive and weakened noticeably.  Mr Day Jnr was advised that prior to racing again NIXSUN must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial. 
LITTLE POPCORN – When questioned in relation to the performance, driver B Medlyn explained that the gelding failed to travel comfortably at any stage and despite his efforts inside the 600 metres it weakened noticeably and tailed the field.  Connections were advised that prior to racing again LITTLE POPCORN must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial.  Driver B Medlyn was cautioned in relation to his use of the whip on a runner out of contention.
BUDDY BRILLIANCE – Post-race swab sample. 

RACE 7 – BLUES MEATS PACE – 1720 metres
HARLEY JAMES – Passed required pre-race veterinary examination. 
DEAD EYE TIKI – Post-race swab sample. 
SIR JUJON – Pulled hard during the middle stages and was difficult to restrain.
NAPOLI NIGHTS – Pre-race blood sample.  
PREACHERS DAUGHTER – Driver J Turnbull pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 156(2)(a) stating that when applying the whip in the home straight, he did so in manner that exceeded a wrist only flicking motion.  Mr Turnbull was fined $200.

RACE 8 – HOT2TROT CANTEEN PACE- 2120 metres
HES ALL SHINE – When questioned in relation to the performance driver B Medlyn explained that the gelding pulled hard in the early stages and was difficult to restrain.  He said that this resulted in HES ALL SHINE racing without cover in the early and middle stages,A then when placed under pressure inside the 800 metres the gelding was unresponsive and ran to the finish in a disappointing manner.  A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality.  Connections were advised that prior to racing again HES ALL SHINE must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial. 
QUEENHIGH FLUSH NZ – Broke stride free of any external factors during the score up and galloped for a short distance.  Trainer/driver Mr T Robson was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly’s racing record.
NO BLING – Pre-race blood sample.  When activating gear passing the 300 metres trainer/driver Mr T Inwood’s left foot slipped slightly below the foot rest momentarily.  Post-race swab sample. 
SASSY BEACH - When activating gear passing the 300 metres driver Mr J Reynold’s left foot slipped slightly marginally below the sulky rest momentarily.  
YARRAMAN KAYLOU – Following required satisfactory performance trainer/driver M J Sutton was advised that the filly is now be eligible to take its place in the mobile barrier draw.
