RACE 1 – 2DU PACE – 1720 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed slightly due to a gear adjustment being conducted on High Quest.

TWISTED MISTRESS – Pre-race swab sample. Post-race swab sample.

HARLEY JAMES – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding attaining the age of 12yrs. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

MAJOR JAMANE – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding attaining the age of 12yrs. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

 

RACE 2 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1720 metres

ARE YOU WITH ME – Pre-race swab sample.

NONE GRATER – (5^th/15m/$2.70) Trainer/ Driver Nathan Turnbull explained that he was pleased with the performance of NONE GREATER and added that the gelding was placed at a disadvantage when having to attempt to improve its position from the rear of the field. Mr Turnbull added that no runner including NONE GREATER made ground from similar positions during running. The comments of Mr Turnbull were recorded.

BRIDGE COIN – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – DUBBO PET & STOCK FEEDS PACE – 1720 metres

WARRAWEE FLYER – Pre-race swab sample. Post-race swab sample.

BOLD COWBOY – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

 

RACE 4 – CLUB DUBBO PACE – 1720 metres

CALA GRECA – Post-race swab sample.

NOVA JO – Held up in the early stages of the home straight for clear racing room.

BELL RIVER BOY – Inconvenienced when the pace eased racing into the back straight on the first occasion.

BOTTLE ROCK NZ – Inconvenienced when the pace eased racing into the back straight on the first occasion.

BLING THE LUCK – Pre-race swab sample. Over-raced during the early and middle stages.

             

RACE 5 – NSWSOA PACE – 1720 metres

HALL MOST AN ANGEL – Pre-race swab sample.

REASON BEING – Driver Blake Medlyn was reprimanded under Rule 170(1)(a) for allowing his left foot to drop from the sulky foot rest when activating gear upon entering the home straight on the final occasion.  

TOLKOWSKY – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 6 – WESTERN PLAINS GRANITE PACE – 2120 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed due to Richmond Greyhounds race 9 running behind schedule.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Paced roughly in the middle stages of the score up.

PYEKAKARIKI – Tired to be beaten 53m and a warning was issued.

TEARIN UP THE SAND – Post-race swab sample.

BRIDGE ON FIRE – Pre-race swab sample.

FAYS WATCHING – Tired to be beaten 61m. Driver Jett Turnbull advised that the filly may not have appreciated to quick return to racing from Parkes 12 June and added that the filly became under pressure with one lap to travel. FAYS WATCHING was stood down from racing until the completion of one (1) satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

YARRAMAN KAYLOU – (10^th/190m/$2.80 fav) Hung in and galloped at the 600m. Driver Nathan Turnbull explained that YARRAMAN KAYLOU failed to travel at any stage once being restrained to the rear of the field at the 1900m. Mr Turnbull added that prior to galloping the filly was failing to respond to driving and proved overall disappointing. Mr Turnbull further advised that it was the intention for YARRAMAN KAYLOU to leave his care following this evening’s performance. In assessing the overall performance of YARRAMAN KAYLOU the filly was stood down until the completion of one (1) satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.  

MISS BLUE STORK – Tired to be beaten 48m and a warning was issued.

 

RACE 7 – ORANA WOOL & SCRAP METAL PACE – 1720 metres

SASSY BEACH – Hung in and contacted marker pegs at various stages. Checked when locking wheels with OUR GLADIATOR at the 600m.

FOREVER MORE – Pre-race swab sample.

TRIOLI – Over-raced when leading and was placed on its last chance to race truly.

OUR GLADIATOR – Checked when locking wheels with SASSY BEACH at the 600m.

DARK LUSTRE – Paced roughly at various stages.

LITTLE POPCORN – Galloped rounding the first turn and a warning was issued.

FRONTIER – Post-race swab sample.
