ITZMINEONTHELINE – Pre-race blood sample.  Driver Seaton Grima was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(i) for failing to have the gelding in position behind the mobile barrier prior to the nominated marker.

FOXY DADA – Post-race swab sample.

MY ULTIMATE SNOWY – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 150 metres.

HAS THE COURAGE – Hung in at various stages throughout the event.

LOCHIEL NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 4 – AINSWORTH – AGTSLOTS.COM.AU 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

EVER ART – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

TUKAHA – Pre-race blood sample.  Hung out after the start.

AMERICAN SPIRIT – Pre-race blood sample.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.

MINOS NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 900 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE GOLDEN MILE – 1609 metres

HOT AND TREACHEROUS NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

TAIPO NZ – Galloped out.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

HI MANAMEISJEFF NZ – Broke stride during the middle stages of the score up.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, it will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.  Post-race swab sample.

RACE 6 – IRT LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

CARRERA SUNSET NZ – Post-race swab sample.

MORE GOODA NZ – Raced in restricted room upon entry to the first turn.

YOUNGGIFTEDANDBLACK NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Raced in restricted room upon entry to the first turn.

AMORE INFIDA NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1300 metres.  Driver Joshua Gallagher was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that he shifted his runner down to the marker pegs in the run to the first turn when not sufficiently clear of YOUNGGIFTEDANDBLACK NZ, placing that runner and MORE GOODA NZ which was racing to the inside of YOUNGGIFTEDANDBLACK NZ in restricted room for a short period.

RACE 7 – PRYDE’S EASIFEED PACE – 1609 metres

LOUS DREAM NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before commencing to shift wider passing the 350 metres and contact the off side sulky wheel of MAYOR OF ELWOOD causing that runner to sustain a flat tyre.  Driver Seaton Grima pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that passing the 350 metres he commenced to shift wider on the track when not sufficiently clear of RED REACTOR NZ, which was racing to his outside causing that runner to be placed in restricted room to the inside of RICKOSHAY and as a result RED REACTOR NZ contacted the near side sulky wheel of RICKOSHAY and was checked.  After considering the recent record of Mr Grima, in addition to his guilty plea, his licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 14 days.

RED REACTOR NZ – Placed in restricted room passing the 350 metres when LOUS DREAM NZ was shifted wider on the track causing RED REACTOR NZ to contact the near side sulky wheel of RICKOSHAY and be checked.  Driver Jim Douglass was found guilty of a charge under Rule 231(2), in that he had misconducted himself immediately after the running of the event whereby he approached Seaton Grima and used defamatory and insulting language.  After considering the recent record of Mr Douglass, in addition to the particular circumstances of the incident, he was fined $300.

MAYOR OF ELWOOD – Pre-race blood sample.  Sustained a flat off side sulky tyre passing the 350 metres when LOUS DREAM NZ was shifted wider on the track.

ULTIMATE BIRD NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

RACE 8 – ALLCOTT HIRE CAMPBELLTOWN TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres

SALLY EM – Driver Grant Forrest was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start.

THEBESTBOURBON – Driver Cameron Hart was fined $100 under rule 162(1)(i) for failing to have the mare in position behind the mobile barrier at the nominated marker.

AFFAIRE DE COVER – Pre-race blood sample.  Stewards questioned driver Jack Brown with regards to the performance of the gelding which finished in ninth placing beaten 46 metres.  Mr Brown advised Stewards that he was unable to explain the performance of the gelding this evening however offered that the gelding was racing on the quick back up having raced at Bankstown the previous Monday and was forced to race without cover in tonight’s event.  A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.  After considering the explanation provided by Mr Brown, Stewards determined to note his comments.

SHEZA PLEASURE – Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $100 under Rule 273(6)(a) for presenting the mare in the incorrect saddle cloth.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1800 metres.

SUNNY GEE – Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $100 under Rule 273(6)(a) for presenting the gelding in the incorrect saddle cloth.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 2000 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

JUNGLE EYES – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1600 metres.

LEAF STRIDE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Raced roughly after the start.

RACE 9 – WOODLANDS STUD – WE SELL WINNERS PACE – 2300 metres

HECTOR NZ – Post-race swab sample.

ROMANEE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. 

ARDENS ACE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

DOUBLE ENCOUNTER – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.  Over raced throughout the middle stages of the event.
