RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 2030 metres

SPUNKYS GOTSECRETS – Pre-race blood sample. When questioned regarding the performance Driver B Hughes explained to Stewards that the horse had a tendency to over race throughout the event and when asked for an effort over the concluding stages was somewhat disappointing.

DIAMONDSONTHEBEACH NZ – Fractious during the early stages of the score up. Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second recorded offence, acting under Rule 101(3)(b) connections were advised DIAMONDSONTHEBEACH NZ would be stood down indefinitely.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

 

RACE 2 – TOOHEYS WARATAH HEAT – 1609 metres

CONOR MCGREGOR NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

FAR OUT RINGO – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 3 – FOUR XXXX FOR $4 PACE – 2030 metres

KILLARA SAMURAI – Post-race swab sample.

BETTOR CHEER NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

BEANCOUNTER – Had a tendency to shift ground up the track whilst under pressure over the concluding stages. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 4 – $10 SNITTY TUCKERBOX PACE – 1609 metres

MAJOR REASON – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the run to the finish.

METALLICA MAN – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MAN FROM BRAAVOS – Driver J Taaffe was cautioned in relation to the manner in which he applied the whip over the concluding stages.

IM IN TROUBLE – Driver B Grima momentarily dropped his foot inside the final 100 metres when driving his runner out.

 

RACE 5 – $10 FISH TUCKERBOX NSW BRED TWOYEAR OLD HEAT – 1609 metres

A LOT OF LUVIN – Pre-race blood sample. Driver J Gallagher was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying the whip over the concluding stages, employed an action which engaged the shoulder.

DOLCE DRAMA – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up. Connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 6 – $10 RISSOLE TUCKERBOX NSW BRED TWO YEAR OLD HEAT – 1609 metres

LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE – Post-race swab sample.

ROCK AM ALYESKA – Broke stride shortly after the start was effected. Connections were advised that given its limited experience would now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

LOCKITINEDDY – It was reported post-race the deafeners failed to release during the event.

 

RACE 7 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres

HAPPY AS – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

SHARK DANCER – Pre-race blood sample.

HARMONY – Post-race swab sample.

MAGIC SHOOS – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

THE METAL FLYER – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

 

RACE 8 – HAPPY 60TH SCOTT WILLIAMSON PACE – 1609 metres

SIYA NZ – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to be somewhat lame in the near foreleg. Acting on veterinary advice it was stood down until a veterinary certificate of fitness is produced.

GOLLY GEE FELLAS – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MYSTICAL SUNSHINE – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 9 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

MISS HORNIGOLD – Pre-ace blood sample.
