RACE 1 – THANK YOU SECOND CHANCE SADDLERY PACE – 2160 metres

ELLAVA PACER – Pre-race blood sample. Driver J Field pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after the start he has shifted his runner down the track when insufficiently clear of LEAD ROLE with that runner contacting the inside sulky wheel and breaking stride. Considering J Field’s guilty plea, driving record in relation to this rule his license to drive in races being suspended for a period of 14 days. This suspension is to commence midnight 8 September 2024.

LINE DANCE – Post-race swab sample.

INGERMALA – Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

LEAD ROLE – Shortly after the start contacted the inside sulky wheel of ELLAVA PACER when that runner shifted down the track when insufficiently clear resulting in LEAD ROLE breaking stride.

 

RACE 2 – THANKYOU TUPPERWARE WITH TONI PACE – 1700 metres

ALICE ON THE BEACH – Post-race swab sample.

SONOFABET – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride shortly after the start. A warning was issued. Passing the 1300 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued. Tailed the field for the remaining 1300 metres of the event due to breaking stride.

 

RACE 3 – THANK YOU SHOES FOR YOU PACE -1700 metres

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Driver J Turnbull was queried on the overall performance of the mare after racing outside the leader throughout the event commenced to give ground over the final 300 metres to finish in 9th position beaten 20.1 metres. Mr Turnbull stated racing outside the leader and having to do more work than expected in the early stages proved detrimental to the mare’s overall performance. He further added she may not have backed up from racing at Parkes on Friday 6 September 2024. He also added if circumstances permit, he may look to drive the mare more conservative in future starts when unable to lead.

RACE 4 – THANK YOU BEECHER WOOL SERVICES PACE – 1700 metres

GRINFARON – Driver M Johnson was found guilty of a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when negotiating the first turn he has shifted his runner down the track from a three wide position when not sufficiently clear of LINE ME UP BRO NZ and as a result that runner had to shift to the marker line losing its rightful running. Considering Mr Johnson’s record in relation to this rule and the circumstances of the incident his licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 7 days. This suspension is to commence midnight 17 September 2024.

OUR UNCLE HAROLD – Post-race swab sample.

TULHURST DANCER – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer/Driver N Hurst was queried on the overall performance of the mare when giving ground over the final 400 metres to finish in 9th and last position beaten 30.7 metres. Mr Hurst stated not being able to lead and having to race outside the lead proved detrimental to the overall performance.

PLAY UP A STORM – Driver J Vautin was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) when negotiating the first turn he shifted his runner in locking wheels with ZACHAROONI with that horse being inconvenienced.

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Entering the first turn was inconvenienced when having to shift down to the marker line losing its rightful running when GRINFARON had shifted in. Held up for clear racing room until the final 100 metres.

ZACHAROONI – Negotiating the first turn was inconvenienced when locking wheels with PLAY UP A STORM which had shifted down the track. Held up for clear racing room until the final 100 metres.

 

RACE 5 – THANK YOU JD WELDING PACE – 1700 metres

BEAU STELLE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

ULAANBAATAR – Inconvenienced between the 400 metres and the 100 metres when trailing SPORTY MICKILLA which was giving ground.

 

RACE 6 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1700 metres

A MAJOR STARR NZ – Post-race swab sample.

TULHURST PEBBLES – Leaving the 500 metres when being shifted wider became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

THREE ONE FOUR – Pre-race blood sample. Slow to score up and as a result was out of position at the start. The mare will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

 

RACE 7 – THANK YOU KATS AND DOGS PACE – 1700 metres

SABELLA SHANNON – Post-race swab sample.

KEAYANG DOMINO – Pre-race blood sample.
