RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE – 2030  metres

MADAMS PEARL – was held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

BARARADAWNSHANNON – galloped away as the start was effected. A warning was issued.

ZENALOU – Pre Race sample was taken. Broke stride in the early stages of the score up after being checked. Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten some distance. R Morris explained that after doing some work in the early stages of the event was able to travel well however when asked for an effort over the concluding stages failed to respond and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormality.

BRADNESS JUNE – post-race sample was taken.

HI FILANTE – was fractious in the early stages of the score up. Placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

FOUR FEATHERS – was checked shortly after the start was effected.

 

RACE 2 – MATES4HARNESS PACE  – 2030 metres

 

OUR BUSHWACKER – weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormality. Connections were advised it would be stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

GROSESTAR – restricted for racing room shortly after the start was effected.

SWEET CREATION – Driver R Atkins was reprimanded under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after the start was effected closed down the track and restricted the racing room of GROSESTAR.

OUTLOOK – pre race sample was taken.

MITSI GAYNOR NZ – post race sample was taken.

 

RACE 3 – COCA COLA PACE  – 1609 metres

 

MONDELLO BEACH – Driver T Callaghan was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that prior to entering the home straight for the run to the finish, shifted up the track and hampered A LOT OF LUVIN  (R Morris)

Held up for clear running in the early stages of home straight.

 

SHEZA CRACKER – a post-race veterinary examination revealed it to have bled from both nostrils. Connections were advised that under the provisions of Rule 101(3)(a) the mare will be stood down for a period of 3 months and until such time a veterinary certificate of fitness is tendered in addition to one re-qualifying trial.

MISTER CHEESE – pre-race sample was taken.

A LOT OF LUVIN – hampered prior to entering the home straight for the run to the finish. Was held up for clear running over the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

ERUPT STRIDE – post race sample was taken.

 

RACE 4 – GLOBAL BRANDS PACE – 2030 metres

 

SUNSHINE PEPPER – Post race sample was taken.

FIRST CLASS – Pre race sample was taken.

ROSBERG – hampered approaching the 150 metres.

CUT GLASS - Driver T Callaghan was reprimanded under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when approaching the 150 metres shifted up the track and hampered the running of ROSBERG.

BEANCOUNTER – C Formosa was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position as the start was effected.

MACH DADDY had a tendency to hang in throughout various stages of the event.

 

RACE 5 – TOOHEYS PACE  – 1609 metres

 

HEAVENLY HOLLY – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

LACEYS LAD NZ. Post race sample was taken.

ARGENT PEAK – pre race sample was taken. Broke stride prior to entering the first turn. Connections were advised that it continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

ASHARK – held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

METALLICA MAN- when questioned regarding the performance C McElhinney explained that overall was disappointed in the run after not beginning as well as expected found a handy position in the running line however when asked for an effort racing down the back straight on the final occasion failed to respond and disappointing over the concluding stages of the event.

 

RACE 6 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND 2YO PACE – 1609 metres

 

ANIMORE – checked passing the 600 metres.

RIPPIN AN TWISTIN – checked and broke stride passing the 600 metres.

RECKLESS CONVICT – Hampered passing the 600 metres.

ERROL FIN – broke stride passing the 600 metres. Connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance to race truly.

LOOKATSPUNKYDANCE – pre race sample was taken. Raced roughly shortly after the start was effected.

SYNCOPATED SHUFFLE – hampered passing the 600 metres.

ERASMUS – checked passing the 600 metres.

TWO CRACKED CORN – Post race sample was taken.

 

WICKED SUSAN  - hampered passing the 600 metres.

UPSTREAM  - Hampered passing the 600 metres.

 

RACE 7 – PITCHER PARTNERS PACE  – 1609 metres

 

WINAMOTZA – pre race sample was taken.

WALLAROY BOY – had a tendency to hang out during the score up and was slow away as the start was effected. Connections were advised that it now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw given its recent record.

JEFFCOATE – driver J Coney was reprimanded under rule 168(1)(a) in that when racing down the back straight on the final occasion contacted the off side wheel of SPIKEY BOY resulting in a puncture. Stewards noted that SPIKEY BOY had commenced to weaken which contributed to the incident.

SULTAN FELLA – was examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

CERTAINLYCALLITIN – post race sample was taken

SPIKEY BOY NZ – commenced to weaken racing down the back straight on the final occasion before sustaining a contact to the off side wheel resulting in a puncture. Driver C McElhinney was caution in relation to applying the whip when out of contention.

SHADOW ECLIPSE – was examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormality reported.

 

RACE 8 – SHARP OFFICE PACE  – 1609 metres

 

OAK RIDGE -  Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

BETTATHANMOZARELLA – pre race sample was taken.

SWEET LOVIN – had a tendency to hang in and race roughly when negotiating the final turn. A warning was issued. post-race sample was taken.

SKYFALL LEGACY – broke stride passing the 800 metres. Connections were advised it would now be stood down to one requalifying trial.

ALTIANO- broke stride as the start was effected and a warning was issued. Again broke stride when entering the first turn with a further warning issued.

 

 

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres

 

LISASPANGLEDSTAR – hung in and contacted marker pegs rounding the final turn. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

BODY LINE – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

GLENFRANKIE – Had a tendency to over-race in the early and middle stages of the event.

ROCKNROLL CLARRY – held up for clear running over the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

MISS OUT - held up for clear running over the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

 

DANCE WITH CARMER – Pre-race sample was taken. Post-race sample was taken.
