RACE 1 – TOOHEYS PACE – 2125 metres

MAID OF MONEY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

DESTINY STRIDE – Shifted out under pressure inside the final 200 metres against the efforts of its driver and a warning was issued.

TIMELY SOVEREIGN – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 metres. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings. Held up inside the final 200 metres.

 

RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres

The start of this event was delayed due to PETER FORSBERG NZ requiring a gear adjustment.

GIMMEFIVEMINUTESMORE NZ – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

BARNSTORMER NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race blood sample.

PETER FORSBERG NZ – Retired from the event passing the 1100 metres due to the gelding sustaining a flat outside tyre.

 

RACE 3 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1720 metres

NOTMUCHUPTOP – Post-race swab sample.

CLEMENTSORRELL – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

RUM DELIGHT NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings. Pre-race blood sample.

LANI KAI BEACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

TIGER TOMMY NZ – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight prior to obtaining a clear run to the inside of NOTMUCHUPTOP approaching the 100 metres.

TEAM OF STARZZZ - Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

 

RACE 4 – BRING BACK THE BOGAN @ CLUB PACEWAY SEPT 28 PACE – 1720 metres

WHY NOT SURF – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.

ROGERVALERIO LOMBO – Hung out at various stages when leading despite the efforts of its driver, most notably passing the 200 metres resulting in ROGERVALERIO LOMBO and DANCING WITH MY EX locking wheels. A warning was placed on the record of ROGERVALERIO LOMBO. Contacted marker pegs passing the 200 metres.

JUST ROCKNROLL – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.

DANCING WITH MY EX – Checked shortly after straightening when ROGERVALERIO LOMBO shifted out resulting in DANCING WITH MY EX and ROGERVALERIO LOMBO locking wheels and both runners losing ground slightly resulting in RIP JACKSON being inconvenienced.

RIP JACKSON – Inconvenienced approaching the 100 metres as a result of ROGERVALERIO LOMBO and DANCING WITH MY EX locking wheels.

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Pre-race blood ample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – COMEDY FOR A CAUSE @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND SEP 29 PACE – 1720 metres

MERRYWOOD PAUL – Pre-race blood sample. Raced roughly for a short distance after the start. Post-race swab sample.

EAGLE WATCH NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Broke shortly after the start and in view of the geldings recent record will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events.

SIR RICHARD LEE – Checked shortly after the start as a consequence of EAGLE WATCH NZ breaking gait.

 

RACE 6 – TAB ENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

DASHING CHEDDAR – A false start was declared on the first occasion when DANCING CHEDDAR broke gait checking runners drawn behind. A warning was placed on the record of DASHING CHEDDAR.

NITRO DANNY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

WHEREISHE – Slow to begin.

TIGERS INVASION – Locked wheels with TIGER PRINCE at the 300 metres resulting in TIGERS INVASION being checked.

GOTTA BLING IT – Checked passing the 300 metres as a result of TIGERS INVASION and TIGER PRINCE locking wheels.

TIGER PRINCE – Hung in passing the 300 metres resulting in TIGER PRINCE and TIGERS INVASION locking wheels and both runners being checked. As a consequence TIGER PRINCE losing ground and the gelding was held up to the finish. A warning was placed on the manners of TIGER PRINCE.

KATES VIRTUE – Broke shortly after the start and a warning was issued. Checked passing the 300 metres as a result of TIGERS INVASION and TIGER PRINCE locking wheels.

 

RACE 7 – WESTARN SYD TATOO SHOW @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND OCT 12 PACE – 1720 metres

ROCKETON – Pre-race blood sample.

CARIBBEAN RUNA – Post-race swab sample.

WEENEEDDREAMS – Momentarily tightened passing the 1400 metres when TOMMYS LUCK shifted in.

TOMMYS LUCK – Driver Declan Murphy was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that at approximately the 1400 metres he permitted TOMMYS LUCK to shift in momentarily tightening WEENEEDDREAMS.

BIRDY GAL – Locked wheels briefly with MISTER JONES NZ passing the 300 metres.

MISTER JONES NZ – Locked wheels briefly with BIRDY GAL passing the 300 metres resulting in MISTER JONES NZ and BIRDY GAL being checked. Driver Jarod Farrugia was questioned regarding his decision to direct MISTER JONES NZ 3 wide passing the 600 metres. Mr Farrugia explained the speed of the event had been slow during the early and middle stages and he felt it would be beneficial to allow MISTER JONES NZ to commence to improve into the race at this stage, however he added in hindsight he may have been better served remaining in the position following TOMMYS LUCK because as soon as he shifted out 3 wide the speed of the event increased significantly and as a consequence MISTER JONES NZ had difficulty making ground wide on the track.

 

RACE 8 – BIG YARD BIRD BAND JAZ @ CLUB PACEWAY OCT 13 PACE – 1720 metres

HOT CRUISE CONTROL – Hung out rounding the first turn and paced roughly passing the 1400 metres. A warning was placed on the record of HOT CRUISE CONTROL.

SQUADRON – Post-race swab sample.

XCITE ME NZ – A pre-race blood sample was attempted however was aborted when the mare became extremely fractious.
