RACE 1 – ACCESS GROUP SOLUTIONS HVAC TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 meters
NOTHING I WANT – Pre-race blood sample.
FOOTTAPPER – Post-race swab sample.
VALLEY STAR NZ – Hung in became unbalanced and galloped passing the 2000 metres for which a warning was issued.
RACE 2 – CONDELL PARK PRODUCE TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres
TIGER TEE – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1650 metres. Post-race swab sample.
DOWN UNDER EARL – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1800 metres.
LATRELL NZ – Raced roughly passing the 300 metres for which a warning was issued.
THEBESTBOURBON – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 3 – FARMER JOES CHICKEN PACE – 1609 metres
FIFTYSHADES CRESCO – Pre-race blood sample.
OJENNY MAY – Post-race swab sample.
LANI KAI BEACH – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected of either examination.
CLEMENTSORRELL – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding being 13 years of age and having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected of either examination. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1200 metres.
NON GRATER – Became unbalanced and galloped during the score up for which a warning was issued. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
RUM DELIGHT NZ – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. No obvious abnormalities were detected of either examination.
RACE 4 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres
HY MAINTENANCE – Pre-race blood sample. Raced roughly passing the 1400 metres for which a warning was issued.
THE LADY DIOR – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1300 metres. Post-race swab sample.
TWO CRACKED CORN – Broke the lugging pole shortly after the start.
WHIRILY MAURZ – Hung in leaving the 600 metres and raced roughly approaching the 450 metres and failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 53.5 metres and finished in last position. Driver J Rattray could offer no explanation into the performance of the filly other than noting that the filly was racing up in grade. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 5 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres
HONOLULU PRINCESS – Pre-race blood sample.
SUGAR PIE HONEY – Post-race swab sample.
UPSTREAM – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
MARY ANNE ROSE – Driver K Morris was cautioned in relation to her whip use in the home straight on the final occasion.
CINEMATIC – Raced roughly passing the 1200 metres whilst being restrained by driver B Hewitt.
RACE 6 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres
OUR TRIPLE MAJOR – Hung out after the start and contacted the sulky of FREEDOM ART. Had its off side sulky wheel contacted passing the 200 metres and as a result sustained an off side flat tyre when FREEDOM ART shifted wider. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
FREEDOM ART – Contacted the sulky wheel of OUR TRIPLE MAJOR passing the 1450 metres when OUR TRIPLE MAJOR hung out to its inside. Over raced throughout. Held up for clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested. Contacted the sulky wheel of OUR TRIPLE MAJOR passing the 200 metres when looking to obtain running to the outside of OUR TRIPLE MAJOR. In not taking action against driver J Gallagher Stewards noted the movement of OUR TRIPLE MAJOR was simultaneous to the movement of FREEDOM ART and therefore did not find that driver J Gallagher had been careless. Locked wheels over the concluding stages with TIGER EUPHEME.
TIGER EUPHEME – Locked wheels over the concluding stages with FREEDOM ART when both runners were racing in restricted room.
MISS RAVISHING – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.
MY LITTLE BO – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1200 metres.
RACE 7 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres
SINALOA – Pre-race blood sample.
HEEZA MALTEEZA – Post-race swab sample.
KINGSTON RAINBOW – Failed to run on from the 600 metres to be beaten 60.3 metres and finished in last position. In view of the colt’s disappointing performance KINGSTON RAINBOW was issued its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
SOHO DARKNSTORMY – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1300 metres.
RACE 8 – NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS – ROUND 2 – 1609 metres
DUTY OF CARE – Pre-race blood sample.
MY ULTIMATE BARNEY – Post-race swab sample.
ANYWHEREIGOHUGO – Became unbalanced and galloped during the score up for which the colt will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 71.7 metres and finished in last position. In view of the performance of ANYWHEREIGOHUGO a warning was issued.
FASTING – Caught racing three wide in the early stages of until being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1250 metres.
RACE 9 – AINSWORTH GAME TECHNOLOGY PACE – 1609 metres
WHISKEY ROYALE – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
EPIC ERNIE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
BETTER HARLEY – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.
RACE 10 – WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP PACE – 1609 metres
PARALLEL – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
MAJOR JAROD – Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1200 metres
EAGLE WATCH NZ – Post-race swab sample.
ARGENT PEAK – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1200 metres. Hung in throughout the event.
RACE 11 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres
KEEPERS IDEAL NZ – Over raced when positioned behind the leader.
SON OF THE SHARK – Checked and paced roughly leaving the 100 metres when SAVEEON was taken up the track to its inside.
SAVEEON – Placed in restricted room and was checked passing the 100 metres when THE REAL MCCOY NZ was taken up the track to its inside which carried SAVEEON into the running of SON OF THE SHARK causing that runner to be checked.
FREDEE TEE – Improved three wide from the 1000 metres until obtaining the position outside of the leader passing the 800 metres. Post-race swab sample.
TROUVILLE – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader passing the 1100 metres and improved to the lead passing the 900 metres. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion.
THE REAL MCCOY NZ – Driver S Grima pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that leaving the 100 metres he has allowed THE REAL MCCOY NZ to shift up the track and as a result tightened the running of SAVEEON when taking that runner up the track to the inside of SON OF THE SHARK causing SAVEEON to improve inside the line of SON OF THE SHARK and was checked, paced roughly and lost its rightful running. Driver S Grima had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 21 days to commence midnight 1 October 2024. In assessing penalty, Stewards considered driver S Grima’s guilty plea, recent record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of this incident.
GENERAL – Robert Xerri pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 204 in that he performed the duties of a stablehand when not the holder of a stablehand’s licence when handling MISS RAVISHING following its presentation to the swab stall and led back to the tie up stalls. Robert Xerri was fined $250.
