RACE 1 – RISING STARS MAIDEN SERIES PACE – 2140 metres

General: A false start was declared at the first attempt when all runners drawn on the second row were significantly out of position.

ITSALADY – Fractious prior to the start & fractious leaving the pre-race circle and during the score up a warning was issued against the mare’s barrier manners. Inconvenienced passing the 500m when WISHIN AN HOPIN commenced to yield ground.

WISHIN AN HOPIN – Yielded ground from the 500m to finish in 10^th and last position beaten 89.7m. WISHIN AN HOPIN will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

FULL OF SPICE – Pre-race swab. Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the filly having not started in preceding 12 months. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.

TASSIE SAFARI – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.

SHES NO HONEY – ($4.40) Broke gait during the latter stages of the score at the first attempt will now be placed on its last chance in the draw. In not taking more action stewards were mindful a false start was declared. Hung inwards at various stages of the event partially on the turns. Driver Amanda Turnbull was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 6^th position beaten 30.9m. Ms Turnbull advised the filly hung inwards on the turns losing momentum and once activing the removable earplugs passing the 400m the filly failed to race in a genuine manner. Ms Turnbull added SHES NO HONEY would derive benefit from the run being first up since 31^st December 2023.

RACE 2– WYALONG PUBLIC SCHOOL P&C 2YO PACE – 1740 metres

LOTUSBIRD – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.

ROCKIN REMY – Yielded ground from the 800m to finish in 9^th and last position beaten 80.4m.  ROCKIN REMY will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.

SHES DUNNA RUNNA – Raced roughly approaching the 700m a warning was issued against the filly racing manners.

RACE 3 – ENERGY FLO PACE – 1740 metres

SMOKIN TALLY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having attaining the age of 14 years old & started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. 

BINNO MAJOR – Pre-race swab.

INGERMARLA – Hung outwards approaching the 350m contacting the sulky wheel of NO MORE PROMISES.

WATCH AND WEEP – Hung outwards under pressure despite the drivers efforts approaching the 200m. A warning was issued against the gelding racing manners.

NO MORE PROMISES – Sulky wheel contacted approaching the 350m when INGERMARLA hung outwards. Post-race swab.

HEZA STARMAN – Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 10^th & last position beaten 61.1m.

ARTIMOS – Driver Mikayla Towers was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position when the start was effected. Connections of ARTIMOS were advised the gelding would require to complete one further out of the draw start prior to being permitted to be drawn back in the field.

RACE 4– JUDDS CONTRACTING PTY LTD PACE – 1740 metres

PADDY MACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. 

GOLDEN REASON – Held up from passing the 400m.

JOES REDEMPTION – Hung outwards under pressure inside the final 200m. Driver Jett Turnbull was issued a reprimand for his lack of control in allowing the gelding to hang out over the final 200m. Post-race swab.

HARLEY JAMES – Pre-race swab. Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having attaining the age of 12 years. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Raced roughly after the start was effected. A warning was issued against the gelding barrier manners.

RACE 5 – WELCOME NOEL & CASSIE-WEST WYALONG NEWSAGENCY PACE – 1740 metres

General: Prior to the All Clear the start was reviewed in regards to HUMMING TOP breaking gait prior to the start  inconveniencing  CLASSIC BEESMACK  which was drawn directly behind that runner, however in  accordance with  AHR Rule 15(2) which reads: A horse which is placed first, second, third or fourth including after the determination of any protest shall not be declared a non-starter. Stewards deemed CLASSIC BEESMACK a starter as CLASSIC BEESMACK had finished in third position.

HUMMING TOP – Began badly prior to the start was effected. A warning was issued against the geldings barrier manners.

MI MATE RON – Held up during the early stages of the home straight prior to obtaining clear running.

SOKYS FALCON – Pulled hard during the middle stages of the event.

SECURITY CHECK – Began badly as the start was effected. SECURITY CHECK will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile stat events. In taking this action stewards were mindful the gelding was placed on its last chance in the draw two (2) starts prior on the 17^th September 2024. Broke gait clear of interference approaching the 150m. A warning was issued against the gelding racing manners

CLASSIC BEESMACK – Inconvenienced prior to the start was effected when HUMMING TOP began badly.

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ – Post-race swab.

BLAZING – Pre-race swab. Held up during the early stages of the home straight.

RACE 6 – SARBY’S TAKEAWAY PACE – 1740 metres

CRACKER MISS – Hung outwards passing the 800m.

UNCHAINMYART – Driver Bruce Harpley was issued reprimands for tightening the racing room of BURTON entering the first turn & again passing the 800m.

CLIVES GIRL – ($1.45 Fav) Shifted outward marginally passing the 700m locking wheels with DEEBO which checked  CRACKER MISS, UNCHAINMYART, CALA GRECA, ELLAVA PACER, QUICKSHIFT GIRL & IM BELIEBER  all to varying degrees. Driver Blake Jones was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 8^th position beaten 13.9m after leading from the 1400m. Mr Jones advised the mare to be disappointing and attributed the performance to the mare enduring more work than expect to obtain the lead and as the mare may be better served being driven more conservatively at the start going forward. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a slower than normal recovery.

DEEBO – Pre-race swab. Shifted inwards marginally passing the 700m locking wheels with CLIVES GIRL checking multiple runners to varying degrees.

BURTON – Tightened and contacted marker pegs entering the first turn & again approaching the 700m when UNCHAINMYART shifted inwards on both occasions. Yielded ground from the 600m to finish in 10^th and last position. A warning was issued against the gelding racing competitiveness.

IM BELIEBER – ($151.00) Trainer/driver Michael Hardy was queried into the seemingly improved performance of the gelding to recent starts. Mr Hardy advised the gelding’s racing manners have been the main contributing factor for its poor recent starts in pulling extremely hard three (3) starts prior & hanging inwards throughout at its most recent start. Mr Hardy explained IM BELIEBER had always raced consistently prior and was suited to the drop in grade to recent starts and the final half only recorded in 60.3 seconds and an overall mile rate of 2.01.1. Post-race swab.

CALA GRECA – Sulky contacted approaching the 600m.

RACE 7 – HOUSE OF FASHION PACE – 1740 metres

MISTER MANAGER – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. A warning was issued against the geldings barrier manners.

IM ALRITE – Post-race swab.

MASTER JUDE – Pre-race swab.

ABRAHAM – Broke gait clear of interference approaching the 1500m. A warning was issued against the gelding racing manners.

RENROW LAD – Inconvenienced approaching the 1500m when ABRAHAM broke gait.

RACE 8 – WEST WYALONG S&C CLUB CUP – 2540 metres

FOREVER YIN – Broke gait clear of interference passing the 400m checking TERRYRAMA. A warning was issued against the racing manners of FOREVER YIN.

THALASSOPHOBIA – Held up during the early stages prior to obtaining clear running.

HERE COMES BOBBY – Pre-race swab. Driver James Locke was reprimands for tightening the racing room of TICK A LOCH entering the first turn. Mr Locke was a further reprimand for shifting ground approaching the 2000m which inconvenienced TICK A LOCH as it attempted to improve forward.

TERRYRAMA – Checked & broke gait when FOREVER YIN broke gait passing the 400m.

TICK A LOCH – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn. Inconvenienced approaching the 2000m when HERE COMES BOBBY shifted outwards.
