SIX AGAIN – When negotiation the first turn was tightened for racing room when POTTER shifted down the track when insufficiently clear.  Driver P Sapio was queried on the tactics adopted over the final 700 metres in particular if there was an opportunity to shift her runner wider from the 500 metres when POTTER began to yield ground from that point. Miss Sapio stated passing the 600 metres that she was of the opinion POTTER was still maintaining its ground at that stage but was mindful that SIX AGAIN may not be able to make a run that far from home. Passing the 500 metres when TUFFASOLDBOOTS(J Locke) improved to her outside she was cautious on shifting that runner wider as to cause no interference as such was held up until the 300 metres. Stewards concluded that Miss Sapio had erred in her tactics by not shifting SIX AGAIN wider from the 500 metres but not culpable enough to suspend her drivers licence due to Miss Sapio`s relative inexperience resulting in a reprimand being placed on her driving record.    Held up for clear racing room until the 300 metres.
