RACE 1 – PENRITH MAZDA PACE – 2125 metres
MAJOR STATEMENT – Pre-race blood sample.
POLKA DELIGHT NZ – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.
SELSEY BILL NZ – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.
ADMIRABLE NZ – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 2 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres
CRUSADER MISS – Driver Cameron Hart was questioned regarding the performance of the filly which finished in ninth and last placing beaten 31 metres ($2.20 fav). Mr Hart explained that CRUSADER MISS was afforded a relatively good run in the lead during the early stages, however his view being a two year old filly competing against the older horses CRUSADER MISS did not appreciate the pressure applied by SARA TA SLOY from the 600 metres onwards. A post-race veterinary examination of CRUSADER MISS failed to reveal any significant findings. Given the beaten margin (31 metres) a warning was issued.
SILVER MYSTIQUE – Hung out under pressure inside the final 200 metres.
SARA TA SLOY – Post-race swab sample.
MIZZZ ADELE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.
RACE 3 – SUPER HAM & PRAWN RAFFLE @ CLUB PACEWAY DEC 21 PACE – 2125 metres
FRANCO TYSON – Driver Robert Morris was questioned regarding the performance of the gelding which finished in eighth placing beaten 34 metres ($2.15 fav). Mr Morris explained the stable was confident of a forward showing and in his view the performance was attributed to FRANCO TYSON over racing during the middle stages when pressured by GREY CADILLAC. A post-race veterinary examination of FRANCO TYSON failed to reveal any significant findings.
REAL TIN TIN – Hung in at various stages most notably rounding the first and final turns.
SKY CITY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.
MITCHELLS RUN – Over raced during the middle stages. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.
ROCKSIE ROCK – Over raced during the middle stages.
ROMERO – Post-race swab sample.
SMIRKS LIKA BOSS – Held up inside the final 200 metres.
RACE 4 – STEVE – 25 YEARS WITH NAPA PARTS PACE – 1720 metres
KARINYA GILL – Post-race swab sample.
THATS ART – Pre-race blood sample.
PELIGROSO – Tightened passing the 1300 metres when PEACE OF HEAVEN NZ shifted in.
RACE 5 – SANTAS ON HIS WAY PACE – 1720 metres
SHADES OF HEAVEN – Post-race swab sample.
JALANEEL – Inconvenienced passing the 200 metres when SAHARA SIROCCO shifted out resulting in TOTAL DIVA NZ being carried wider.
TOTAL DIVA NZ – Inconvenienced and tightened and passing the 200 metres when SAHARA SIROCCO shifted out taking TOTAL DIVA NZ wider.
SAHARA SIROCCO – Held up rounding the home turn in the early part of the straight. Driver Harrison Ross was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after passing the 200 metres he permitted SAHARA SIROCCO to shift out resulting in TOTAL DIVA NZ being tightened and taken out onto JALANEEL which was inconvenienced momentarily.
ONE FOR THE RODI – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 6 – BEST FRIENDS FOREVER PACE – 1720 metres
SILENT REACTION –
IMPULSIVE GEORGE – Checked and paced roughly passing the 100 metres.
CHOC A BLOCK – Pre-race blood sample. Broke shortly after the start. A warning was issued. Had its sulky contacted passing the 100 metres by IMPULSIVE GEORGE.
LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Tightened passing the 100 metres when MAJOR JAROD shifted out.
MAJOR JAROD – Broke during the score up and a warning was issued. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight. Driver Jye Coney pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that approaching the 100 metres he permitted MAJOR JAROD to shift out when not sufficiently clear of LINE ME UP BRO NZ resulting in that runner being tightened and taken out onto IMPULSIVE GEORGE resulting in IMPULSIVE GEORGE making contact with the sulky of CHOC A BLOCK and IMPULSIVE GEORGE being checked and pacing roughly as a consequence. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines placing particular weight on Mr Coney’s guilty plea and his recent driving record. Stewards accordingly imposed a 10 day suspension of his licence to drive in races which was ordered to commence midnight 26 December 2024. Post-race swab sample.
ALLEGRETTO – Held up rounding the home turn in the early part of the straight.
DEEBO – Inconvenienced shortly after the start when CHOC A BLOCK broke gait. Held up rounding the home turn in the early part of the home straight.
WHEREISHE – Inconvenienced shortly after the start when CHOC A BLOCK broke gait. Held up inside the final 200 metres.
RACE 7 – MERRY CHRISTMAS PACE – 1720 metres
MEMPHIS FURY – Pre-race blood sample.
GUNFORHIRE – Post-race swab sample.
TEARIN UP THE SAND – Broke clear of interference passing the 400 metres and a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination of TEARIN UP THE SAND failed to reveal any significant findings.
RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres
TOP THE ACE – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.
MADAZALWAYS – Post-race swab sample.
TEAM OF STARZZZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.
LANI KAI BEACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.
PRINCE POTTER – It was noted at the completion of the event that the off side hopple connecting strap had broken. The gear was found to be of good quality.
KNIGHT WALKER – Pre-race blood sample. Held up rounding the home turn in the early part of the straight.
ULTIMATE AD – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.
RACE 9 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres
PARADIGM – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
TRIPLE SPEED – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding not having started in preceding 12 months. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings. Hung out passing the 400 metres and broke a short distance later. A warning was placed on the record of TRIPLE SPEED.
LOCKITINEDDY – Driver Will Rixon was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that approaching the 1400 metres he permitted LOCKITINEDDY to shift in momentarily tightening BEYONDREASON.
BEYONDREASON – Over raced during the middle stages. Tightened approaching the 1400 metres.
IM NO GIFT – Checked passing the 300 metres when TRIPLE SPEED broke gait.
