VICTORTHEINFLICTOR – Tightened for racing room approaching the 200m when TICK A LOCH shifted inwards abruptly which took VICTORTHEINFLICTOR inwards and locking wheels with FLY TO THE FINISH NZ which was improving to its inside severely checking both runners.

Mr Newberry advised after obtaining the lead it was his intentions to steady the pace of the event and attempt to recorded a much slower second quarter however KIA ORA BEAUTY commended to over race despite his efforts to restrain the mare as KIA ORA BEAUTY does not wear any deafeners and had not been in any recent opportunities to be driven forward and lead. Mr Newberry added KIA ORA BEAUTY raced fiercely when VICTORTHEINFLICTOR improved into the event during the middle stages.
