RACE 1 –THE TAB APP PACE – 1740 metres
ALWAYS BE BRENDAN – Driver James Locke was issued a reprimand for shifting ground approaching the 1400m which inconvenienced LOOKINFORAREASON momentarily. Post-race swab.
LOOKINFORAREASON – ($15.00) Driver Bill Trembath was queried into the tactics adopted upon the mare in particular if he gave consideration to surrender the position outside the leader approaching the 1300m when challenged by SHEZ BETTORS BABE prior to finishing in 9th position beaten 19.6m. Mr Trembath advised he did give consideration to surrendering the position however was instructed by the trainer if unable to lead to hold the position outside the leader as the mare is one paced and had performed well first up from a spell as the stable were confident of a forward performance from the mare. Mr Trembath added the mare to be disappointing over the concluding stages.

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE PACING STUD PACE – 1740 metres
General: The start of this event was delayed five (5) minutes when the lugging pole on DENZIL DEBRO broke in the pre-race circle & required replacing.
DENZIL DEBRO – Pre-race swab. Held up passing the 300m when TYABB WONDER was giving ground.
NOBLE JULIA – Raced roughly passing the 1400m. Inconvenienced & held up passing the 300m when TYABB WONDER was giving ground.
TYABB WONDER – ($4.60) Trainer/driver Jackson Painting was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 10th and last position beaten 23.1m after leading. Mr Painting advised the mare to be extremely disappointing and contributed the performance to TYABB WONDER being in season. A-post race veterinary failed to reveal any abnormalities other confirming the mare being in season.

UNCHAINMYART – Post-race swab.
RACE 3– STEEL SUPPLIES PACE –1740 metres
MIKI MARK – Pre-race swab.
FRESH PRINCE – Hung outwards under pressure inside the final 200m.
JUMBO JIM – Pulled hard during the middle stages of the event.
TINNYSMEDAD – Broke its nearside go straights passing the 1200m placing the gelding at a disadvantage.
ADIEU MIKENNIS – Held up during the early stages of the home straight prior to obtaining clear running.
SHEZA BETTOR GEM – Pulled hard during the middle stages of the event. Post-race swab.
RACE 4– SUCCESS STUD STANDARDBREDS PACE –1740 metres
SHE HAUNTS EM – Pre-race swab.
MISSAUDACIOUS – Post-race swab.
MAXYS GEM – Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 10th and last position beaten 55.8m.
ZULU ZANE – Back in the mobile draw.
RACE 5 – TASCO PETROLEUM PACE – 1740 metres
General: The start of this event was delayed one (1) minute due to Race 3 at Sunshine Coast Thoroughbreds being behind there scheduled starting time.
REDBANK HARRY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having attaining the age of 13 years & started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
MAJOR HUSS – Pre-race swab.
GOODTIME NEDRA – Post-race swab.
MYNAMEISRUBY – Driver Liam Older was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position when the start was effected.
RACE 6 – WALSH & BLAIR PACE – 1740 metre
TIZZY LIZZY – Post-race swab.
BURTON – Sulky contacted and sustained a nearside flat tyre passing the 300m.
SHOOBEES CHARM – Began badly as the start was effected. A warning was issued against SHOOBEES CHARM barrier manners.
OUR REBEL YELL – Inconvenienced approaching the 1200m when the speed of the event eased. Contacted the nearside tyre of BURTON passing the 400m.
THE TEXAS RANGER – Pre-race swab. Inconvenienced approaching the 1200m when the speed of the event eased.
RACE 7 – WOODLANDS STUD LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metre
CYCLONE BELLA NZ – Pre-race swab. Broke gait clear of interference passing the 1400m. CYCLONE BELLA NZ will now be stood down for a period of fourteen (14) days and until trialing to the satisfaction of stewards on two (2) occasions.
FE FE ON FIRE – ($4.40 Fav) Driver Peter McRae was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 5th position beaten 13.7m after leading. Mr McRae attributed the performance to the mare pulling hard from the 800m to the 400m which resulted in the third quarter being recorded in 26.7 seconds which was the main factor to FE FE ON FIRE overall performance.
PIRANI PRINCESS – Driver Ky Bloomfield was issued a reprimand for shifting ground passing the 1200m which inconvenienced ISLAND BOUHNIA momentarily.
ROSIE POLLEN – Broke gait clear of interference passing 800m checking BONJORGE. A warning was issued against ROSIE POLLEN racing manners.
BONJORGE – Checked passing the 800m when ROSIE POLLEN broke gait.
ISLAND BOUHNIA – Driver George Lee was fined the sum of $100 under AHR Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position until the start was effected. Inconvenienced momentarily passing the 1200m when PIRANI PRINCESS shifted outwards. Post-race swab.
RACE 8 – BOOTS CIVIL ENGINEERING PACE – 1740 metre
MIGHTY FLYING ART NZ – No claims lodged. Post-race swab.
JUST ROLLYOUROWN NZ – Pre-race swab.
ARDENS REALITY NZ – Gave ground from the 700m to finish in 10th and last position beaten 43.9m.
