RACE 1 – HOLLINGWORTH CRANE HIRE SERVICE MAIDEN PACE – 1710 metres

RAISED THE BAR – Post-race swab.

BUBBA NAY – Pre-race blood test.

GOLDNROCK – Slow to begin before breaking gait passing the 1400 metres and again passing the 800 metres.  Given the colt was having its first race start GOLDNROCK will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

SIMPLES – Trainer/driver Brian Portelli was questioned in regards to the seemingly improved performance from SIMPLES.  Mr Portelli explained the gelding seems to race better when being able to lead and let roll along, If  circumstance permit the gelding will be driven in a similar many in future starts. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.  A delayed post-race blood sample was obtained.

BRAEDIE WEARS RED – Hung out passing the 950 metres affording ASTRAL STRIDE a run to its inside.  Passing the 700 metres broke gait for which a warning was issued.

ASTRAL STRIDE – Inconvenienced rounding the first turn as a result of GOLDNROCK breaking gait.  Passing the 950 metres obtained a run to the inside of BRAEDIE WEARS RED when that runner hung out.

ITZ BAD – Inconvenienced passing the 700 metres as a result of BRAEDIE WEARS RED breaking gait.

 

RACE 2 – SUN SOLUTIONS HOME IMPROVEMENT GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 44.8 metres.

TELL ME THIS NZ – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1350 metres.

FIFTYSHADES CRESCO – Pre-race blood test.

WHEREISHE – Post-race swab.

 

RACE 3 – BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS NSW PACE – 1710 metres

A ROCKNROLL STAR NZ – Hung out passing the 1200 metres and locked wheels with DANCING ART.

DOUBLE SAID – Pre-race blood test.  Approaching the 1400 metres was tightened as a result of FARFALLA STRIDE crossing down the track.  Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.  Passing the 300 metres hung in locking wheels with DANCING ART.

SPECIALIZE LOU – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1400 metres.

FARFALLA STRIDE – Driver Brad Hewitt was advised to exercise more care, In that shortly after the start when shifting down the track placed DOUBLE SAID into restricted room.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.  Post-race swab.

DANCING ART – When progressing forward three wide passing the 1200 metres locked wheels with A ROCKNROLL STAR NZ and was inconvenienced before working forward to a position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.  Approaching the 300 metres was inconvenienced as a result of DOUBLE SAID hanging in slightly and locking wheels with DANCING ART.

 

RACE 4 – MIDDY’S ELECTRICAL GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

FRANCO TYSON – Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event.  Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running inside the final 50 metres.

ROCKIN GEMMA – Pre-race blood test.

MY CRACKLING ROSIE – Post-race swab.

 

RACE 5 – DOM FALK COMMUNICATIONS & SECURITY PACE – 1710 metres

MONEYS ON MATILDA – Post-race swab.

HERE COMES BOBBY - Driver James Locke was cautioned for the manner in which he applied the whip over the concluding stages, in particular allowing his right arm to protrude outside the confines of the sulky.

WHATABOYJACK – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

HAIL LUCIUS NZ – Pre-race blood test.

 

RACE 6 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 2240 metres

ALPHA STRIDE – Pre-race blood test.  Hung in rounding the final turn.

RED SAPPHIRE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1750 metres.  Post-race swab.

BART MAGUIRE NZ – Hung in rounding the final turn.

TROUBLE IN HEAVEN – At the request of connections was re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 7 – GOULBURN SOLDIERS CLUB WARATAH HEAT – 1710 metres

MY LADY SARAH – Pre-race blood test.  Inconvenienced rounding the first turn as a result of BEER MONEY breaking gait.  Upon entry to the home straight engaged in a jostle with HES GOT THE LOOK NZ before being disappointed for a run.

MAJOR HUSS – Inconvenienced passing the 1400 metres as a result of BEER MONEY breaking gait.  Post-race swab.

BEER MONEY – Approaching the 1400 metres became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued.  Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 100 metres. 

SNEAK A PEAK NZ – Commenced to improve three wide passing the 950 metres.

HEAVENLY REASON – Inconvenienced passing the 1400 metres as a result of BEER MONEY breaking gait.  Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

HES GOT THE LOOK NZ – Commenced to improve three wide passing the 950 metres.  Engaged in a jostle with MY LADY SARAH rounding the final turn.
