RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres

OUR LUCILLE – Post-race sample was taken.

MISS ADONIS – Pre-race sample was taken. 

KIARAS EPONA – Driver T Miles was reprimanded under rule 163(1)(c)(i) in that when negotiating the final turn shifted inside the line of the marker pegs as a result of losing some control of his drive whilst releasing the ear plugs.

EYES BEEN PATIENT – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages.  Upon request from connections approval was given for it to be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 2 – MATES4HARNESS PACE – 1600 metres

VALIANT CHARGER – Pre-race sample was taken.

SUMMER ROCKSTAR – Post-race sample was taken.

DASHING CHEDDAR – Had a tendency to hang in leaving the back straight on the final occasion and in turn EIFFEL FROM HEAVEN shifting up the track slightly at that stage and as a result DASHING CHEDDAR raced roughly.

 

RACE 3 – SLICK CHICKS PACE – 1609 metres

BENJIMAGEE – Pre-race sample was taken.

GLITTER STRIP – Post-race sample was taken.

ZOEMAGIC – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Driver G Panella was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position prior to the start being affected.

ROBYN TAYLOR – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance. 

 

RACE 4 – SOMERSET MEATS PACE – 1609 metres

BREXITT – Pre-race sample was taken. 

SHADOW ECLIPSE – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

OUR ART CHRISTIAN NZ – Post-race sample was taken.

NIGHTWATCH STAR – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

TINTENBAR – Out of position as the start was affected as a result of being reluctant to move away as the field was called into the score up.  A warning was issued.  Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

 

RACE 5 – COCA COLA PACE – 1609 metres

BODYLINE – Pre-race sample was taken.

RUSHYS CHANCE – Broke stride as the field raced down the back straight on the final occasion free of interference.  Connections were advised that given its recent record it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

DEECEE ROCKIN – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 6 – GLOBAL BRANDS PACE – 1609 metres

ROCKNROLL CLARRY – Pre-race sample was taken. 

SIR CANDY CLOUD – Galloped away as the start was affected.  Connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.  When trailing the field broke stride racing down the back straight on the final occasion and galloped excessively and ultimately was retired for the event.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

THERES WALLY – Post-race sample was taken.

BEERSINMYPOCKET – Shifted in whilst under pressure over the concluding stages.  A warning was issued. 

 

RACE 7 – RFD FOOD SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ – Post-race sample was taken.

ROLAMAX – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

ROCK DE ARK – Pre-race sample was taken.  Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 8 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUD PACE – 1609 metres

NIFTY STUDLEIGH – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Post-race sample was taken.

BEANCOUNTER – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

FRANCO STORM – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Pre-race sample was taken. 

THEARTOFINFUSION – Upon request from connections approval was given for it to be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

IM BILLS LAST NZ – Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up.  A warning was issued.
