RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1740 metres
ROLL THE ACES – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane. Locked wheels with TIGER CHEDDAR near the 100 metres and was inconvenienced.
FE FE ON FIRE – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
THATS THE ATTITUDE – Driver D Moran was given the opportunity to comment on the performance of the gelding, he stated he was disappointed with it and added that it didn’t travel well throughout the race, and failed to respond when he placed it under pressure after leaving the 400 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
THE BANKER NZ – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the race.
TIGER CHEDDAR – Hung-in marginally under pressure in the early part of the home straight, as a result locked wheels with ROLL THE ACES.
BLACK ART NZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old, and was cleared to start.
HES A TERROR – Hung-in under pressure in the home straight.
RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE PACING STUD PACE – 1740 metres
ACHY BREAKY ARK – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
ELATED NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Raced roughly near the 1200 metres, connections were advised the gelding would be placed on its last chance to race truly. Driver T Potter was given the opportunity to comment on the below market expectations performance of the gelding, she stated she was disappointed with it and added that after obtaining cover approaching the 1200 metres she felt it would be a good chance as it usually performs best from that position. She added however it failed to respond when she placed it under pressure near the 400 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities, although it was reported that the gelding did have a slower than normal post-race recovery.
AELLA BY – Hung-in rounding the turn approaching the 800 metres.
RACE 3 – MILBRAE QUARRIES PACE – 1740 metres
RIDE MY HIGH – Tired over the concluding stages for which a warning was issued.
HELLODARLIN – Tired over the concluding stages for which a warning was issued.
BUBBA NAY – Raced roughly for a short distance approaching the 800 metres. Post-race swab sampled.
FULLOFFIGHT NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Hung-in rounding the home turn.
TINNYSMEDAD – Out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.
ARTS FELLA – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 4 – 2024 HORSE OF THE YEAR DEE TERROR PACE – 1740 metres
CAPTAIN CHEDDAR – Pre-race swab sampled.
DANCING ART – Inconvenienced after the start when SHONNY LOU NZ broke gait.
SHONNY LOU NZ – Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued.
SHADES OF MIKI – Broke gait under pressure near the 200 metres, given it was only the gelding’s second race start connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.
FRESH PRINCE – Inconvenienced near the 200 metres when SHADES OF MIKI broke gait.
CALEXICO – Post-race swab sampled.
HEAVENS BADGIRL – Inconvenienced near the 200 metres when SHADES OF MIKI broke gait.
RACE 5 – 2024 TRAINER OF THE YEAR JACK PAINTING LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metres
I LIKE WHAT I SEE – Driver T Potter was questioned regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, she stated she was disappointed with it and was at a loss to explain it. She added that it travelled okay but it failed to respond when she placed it under pressure near the 400 metres after shifting out to make a three wide run. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities, although it was reported that the mare did have a slower than normal post-race recovery.

UNCHAINMYART – Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 6 – 2024 DRIVER OF THE YEAR BLAKE JONES PACE – 1740 metres
JACKS ULTIMATE FURY NZ – Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1000 metres. Post-race swab sampled.
DEVILS BLING – Tired over the concluding stages and was beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from a delayed post-race recovery. Trainer J Gaffney reported that he was disappointed with the gelding’s run and was at a loss to explain it. Connections were advised it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial prior to its next race start.
ALABAMA LIONESS – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 7 – DACHSHUND DASH EASTER SATURDAY PACE – 1740 metres
WIPEOUT – Hung-in under pressure when taking a run in the sprint lane and contacted a marker peg, given its record and that it was its first start in sometime, connections were advised that it would be placed on its last chance to race truly. Post-race swab sampled.
MY BULA BUS – Tired over the concluding stages for which a warning was issued. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities, although it was reported that the mare did have a slower than normal post-race recovery. Driver P McRae, when questioned regarding the performance, stated that he just felt being first up today, the race was ran too quickly and the mare struggled with sustaining that kind of run at this stage of her preparation.
CLYMENUS NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Hung-in when taking a run in the sprint lane in an attempt to take a run to the inside of WIPEOUT which hung-in and contacted a marker peg and raced roughly. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the race.
RACE 8 – WAGGA PACERS CUP EASTER SATURDAY PACE – 1740 metres
SKINNYDIP NZ – Pre-race swab sampled.
INVITATION ONLY NZ – Post-race swab sampled.
