RACE 1 – PAUL & DENNY ANDERSON AUB FROST MEMORIAL – 1710 metres

BUBBA NAY – Slow to begin and hung in after the start. Raced roughly throughout the event. Post-race swab sample.

MAGIC CAPTAIN –It was reported post-race the head check chin rest became dislodged during the event.

ASTRAL STRIDE – Hung in throughout the event and whilst under pressure.

SASSY MIA – Caught wide early before being restrained in the early stages to a position in the running line approaching the 1200 metres. Checked passing the 1000 metres as a result of WAT EVER YOU NEED breaking gait. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 57.4 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have tyed up slightly.

WAT EVER YOU NEED – Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start and will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Three wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1200 metres. Passing the 1000 metres became unbalanced and broke gait and will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.

ITZ BAD – Out of position at the start and will be continued out of the draw in mobile starts.

 

RACE 2 – SUN SOLUTIONS HOME IMPROVEMENT GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

MIZZZ ADELE – Approaching the 1000 metres raced roughly and hung in at various stages throughout the event.

SIX AGAIN – Held up in the latter stages of the home straight.

THE EX HORSEIST – Post-race swab sample.

THE TALK – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 3 – TOP WATER CARTERS CROOKWELL ROBERT ALLPORT MEMORIAL – 2240 metres

MAEBEE – Hung out at various stages of the event.

ONE BIG SHEW – Pre-race blood sample. A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having not started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Hung in throughout the event.

WHEREYABINBOPPIN – Post-race swab sample.

BLUTO NZ – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start and will be continued out of the draw in mobile start events.

 

RACE 4 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1710 metres

ACE OF REASON – Slow to begin from the mobile.

FARFALLA STRIDE – Approaching the 1400 metres had its offside sulky wheel contacted as a result of CARBINEER shifting down the track.

THE COUNTY SHERIFF – Pre-race blood sample.

CARBINEER – Driver Declan Murphy was issued a reprimand under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that approaching the 1400 metres he has allowed the gelding to shift down the track contacting the offside sulky wheel of FARFALLA STRIDE. In taking no further action, Stewards were mindful of the easing of the pace in the event and FARFALLA STRIDE hanging out slightly at the same time. Post-race swab sample.

BART MAGUIRE NZ – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1200 metres.

HARPERVILLE – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.

 

RACE 5 – GOULBURN SOLDIERS CLUB TOM & ANGELA HEWITT MEMORIAL – 2240 metres

MICHAEL CAINE NZ – Galloped out for which a warning was issued. The gelding took no competitive part in the event.

MY CRACKLING ROSIE – Hung out approaching the 1200 metres.

BARTELLO – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Commenced to improve three wide from the 1700 metres before finding the position outside the leader at the 1450 metres.

RESET THE BAR NZ – Post-race swab sample.

WHATABOYJACK – Pre-race blood sample. Commenced to improve three wide from the 1350 metres before finding the lead passing the 1200 metres.

 

RACE 6 – HOLLINGWORTH CRANE HIRE SERVICE PACE – 1710 metres

BENTLY BULLET – Held up in the early stages of the home straight.

LOYOLA GOLF – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1400 metres.

EYEDIDNTLOSEIT – Post-race swab sample.

HARLEEQUIN – Pre-race blood sample.
