RACE 1 – AGT SLOTS PACE – 2300 metres

JOE NIEN – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 75 metres.

JORDY NZ – Driver Josh Gallagher was advised to exercise greater care when shifting wider passing the 400 metres where he inconvenienced MAJOR PERRY NZ which was hanging in when improving to his outside when commenced to make his shift.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER -Post-race swab sample.

MAJOR PERRY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Hung in passing the 400 metres and was inconvenienced when shifted wider on the track by JORDY NZ.

MONTALBANO – Pre-race blood sample.

LAVER NZ – Broke stride free of interference approaching the 1100 metres and was retired from the event, severely checking MAJOR MAJOR causing that runner to break stride. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have sustained a fracture to its off-hind cannon bone and was euthanised on humane grounds.

MAJOR MAJOR – Severely checked and broke approaching the 1100 metres when LAVER NZ broke stride.

RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU PACE – 2300 metres

FIFTY THREE STARS – Slow to begin.

CAPTAIN BLOOD – Post-race swab sample.

ALWAYSBMINNIE – Held up over the latter stages of the home straight.

FOLLOWTHEACE – Pre-race blood sample.

DASHING – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 3 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres

VINKE B NZ -Pre-race blood sample.

HE AINT FAKIN – Hung in under pressure in the home straight and momentarily placed MAJOR STATEMENT in restricted room.

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Held up in the home straight and not tested.

MAJOR STATEMENT – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.

TOORAM MAGIC – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

DEBONAIRE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

JUST AS WELL NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.

 

RACE 4 – LUNAR NEW YEAR WARATAH FINAL – 1609 metres

UNCLE TONY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

KINGSTON SHANNON – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE J E BINSKIN FFA (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres

TERRY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

ZEUSS BROMAC NZ – The offside hopple connecting strap snapped passing the 250 metres and became entangled around the horse’s leg causing it to break stride, checking LINE UP NZ.

LINE UP NZ – Checked passing the 250 metres when ZEUSS BROMAC NZ broke stride.

NYACK – Post-race swab sample.

TAY TAY – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres. Hung in under pressure between the 600 metres and the 400 metres.

ILLAVABUBBLES NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to a position in the running line passing the 1200 metres.

KINGMAKER NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 100 metres.

RACE 6 – OUR GREAT LEGACY! PACE – 1609 metres

JALANEEL – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres.

MARATHON MAN NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

HAS THE COURAGE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

RACE 7 – PRYDE’S EASIPERFORMANCE TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

SUPER SERVICE – Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

AFFAIRE DE COVER – Pre-race blood sample.

SUNNY GEE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

ROYAL DAN – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

CONSTANTINOPLE – Caught racing wide in the early stage of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 8 – CORDINA CHICKEN FARMS PACE – 1609 metres

LOCHIEL NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Will Rixon reported to Stewards the near side hopple connecting strap snapped rounding the first turn causing the gelding to race roughly.

SMALTESE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MAJOR JELLIS NZ – Broke after the start and inconvenienced RED REACTOR NZ. After considering the recent record of the gelding a warning was issued.

RED REACTOR NZ – Inconvenienced after the start when MAJOR JELLIS NZ broke stride.
