RACE 1 – ROYAL HOTEL BLAYNEY PACE – 1640 metres

RIWAKA ROCK – Galloped free of interference upon straightening to the run to the finish. Locked wheels and severely checked IRK MCGLURK when galloping. A warning was issued against the racing manners of RIWAKA ROCK.

IRK MCGLURK – Severely checked and locked wheels with RIWAKA ROCK in the home straight on the final occasion.

MIDNIGHT TERROR – Galloped free of interference leaving the back straight on the final occasion. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the gelding.

ORANGE FEVER – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample. Trainer P Keogh explained that ORANGE FEVER was not suited at its most recent start (Bathurst 29/1/2025) over the long distance and apricated the shorter distance of todays event. Mr Keogh also advised that at Dubbo (17/1/2025) ORANGE FEVER tended to pace roughly and was not comfortable in its action that evening and eventually galloped. Mr Keogh advised he would restrict ORANGE FEVER to shorter distance racing for the foreseeable future.

PEPPERMINT – Re-included back into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 2 – TATTERSALL'S HOTEL BLAYNEY PACE – 1640 metres

ROYAL VILLA – Post-race sample.

TALLARINGAFEELGOOD – Pre-race sample.

ONEOFMANY – Paced roughly after the start when showing gate speed.

AURORA JENNY – Paced roughly racing around the first turn.

TENACITY RED – Re-included back in the mobile barrier draw.

THE HEATS ON LEXY – Galloped clear of interference at the 1000m and trailed the field thereafter. A warning was issued against the racing manners of THE HEATS ON LEXY.  

LUCKY IN AMERICA – Re-included back in the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 3 – BLAYNEY NEWSAGENCY PACE – 1640 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed due to a gear alteration taking place to THE RINGMASTER.

MITTYS THREE ACES NZ – Pre-race sample.

GIRLS VIEW – Post-race sample.

SIX TIMES A LADY NZ - Held up and unable to obtain a clear run to the finish over the concluding stages. 

 

RACE 4 – BLAYNEY CONCRETE PACE – 1640 metres

IDEAL TAO – Placed under pressure leaving the 800m and unable to continue to hold the lead. Trainer/ Driver M Johnson explained that IDEAL TAO raced well until pressure was applied by runners to his outside leaving the 800m and the mare failed to respond to his driving. A post-race veterinary examination of IDEAL TAO revealed the mare to be showing a delayed post-race recovery and was stood down until the satisfactory veterinary clearance.

BURRABADINE BULLET – Pre-race sample.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Commenced to be placed under pressure leaving the 600m before then giving ground. Driver I Ross explained she was caught racing wide during the early stages due to the speed shown by runners to her inside and elected to improve forward and race without cover. Miss Ross stated that LETSTACOBOUTIT travelled comfortably outside of the leader and when DEEBO improved to her outside at the 800m elected to drive her horse forward to attempt to gain the lead due to the leader IDEAL TAO commencing to be placed under pressure. Shortly after gaining the lead the gelding commenced to be placed under pressure before then giving ground.

RACE 5 – KRIDEN FARMS HEAT 1 – 2000 metres

CRYSTAL BLING – Galloped after the start and inconvenienced YA RACIN ARLO, which was trailing. A warning was placed on the barrier manners of CRYSTAL BLING.

MISSDEHEIR – Commenced to give ground leaving the 600m and inconvenienced YA RACIN ARLO.

HALL MOST AN ANGEL – Hung in at various stages throughout the event when racing outside of the leader. Hung out prior to entering the home straight on the final occasion and inconvenienced WARRAWEE FLYER. A warning was issued against the racing manners of HALL MOST AN ANGEL.

WARRAWEE FLYER – Inconvenienced prior to entering the home straight on the final occasion due to HALL MOST AN ANGEL hanging out.

YA RACIN ARLO – Inconvenienced after the start when CRYSTAL BLING galloped. Inconvenienced leaving the 600m when MISSDEHEIR commenced to give ground and then paced roughly leaving the back straight on the final occasion when placed in restricted racing room.

ROCKNROLL RAMBO – Pre-race sample.

DARK LUSTRE – Post-race sample.

 

RACE 6 – KRIDEN FARMS HEAT 2 – 2000 metres

ALLEGRETTO – Pre-race sample. Paced roughly racing around the first turn.

PUPPETEER – Gave ground over the final 800m.

POTTER – Post-race sample. Driver J Turnbull was fined $100 under Rule 170(2) for allowing his body to protrude outside the sulky confines.

ROYAL FOCUS – Paced roughly when racing three wide leaving the 400m.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Driver J Coney was reprimanded under Rule 170(2) for allowing his body to protrude outside the sulky confines.

 

RACE 7 – BLAYNEY PHARMACY PETER MARSHALL MEMORIAL PRELUDE – 1640 metres

General – A false start was declared at the first attempt when HAZZA IS WATCHING galloped checking runners drawn on the second row. Whilst returning to begin the second attempt of the score up the Starter inadvertently was of the belief the start point was at the 2000m and quickened the speed of the mobile barrier. Shortly after the error was rectified and the mobile barrier was slowed down, the runners were then instructed off the mobile barrier. Whilst returning to the pre-race circle FOUR STAR LINCOLN and ULTIMATE TROUBLE locked wheels, shortly after FOUR STAR LINCOLN became fractious and dislodged Driver N Hurst. As a result, FOUR STAR LINCOLN made heavy contact with the sulky of EXCESS VITALITY (P Sapio) resulting in Driver P Sapio being dislodged from the sulky. FOUR STAR LINCOLN and EXCESS VITALITY continued on driverless before being captured by the Clerk Of The Course. Both runners were declared Late Scratching’s by Order of Stewards at 5:13pm. Both drivers were examined by the on-course Ambulance personnel and cleared to fulfil future engagements.

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Checked and galloped at the 1300m when CAMSTAR ROAD galloped. Trailed the field for the remainder. 

HAZZA IS WATCHING – Galloped in the first attempt of the score up, checking runners drawn on the second row and caused a false start. At the second attempt galloped in the early stages of the score up before regaining its barrier position. Galloped after the start and was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.  

FLASH AZARAT – Pre-race sample. Underwent a pre-race examination due to receiving heavy contact by a driverless horse prior to the event. Checked at the 1300m when CAMSTAR ROAD galloped. Paced roughly racing down the back straight on the final occasion. Held up in the early stages of the home straight for a clear racing room.

CAMSTAR ROAD – Galloped clear of interference at the 1300m, checking ULTIMATE TROUBLE and A LIL BIT OF LOVE. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the CAMSTAR ROAD. CAMSTAR ROAD trailed the field for the entire of the event.

POPS LECACY – Galloped after the start, however given the delay no action was taken. Paced roughly when trailing the field rounding the final turn.

FOUR STAR LINCOLN – Late Scratching at 5:13pm by Order of Stewards due to making heavy contact with the mobile barrier when driverless. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions and swelling to the head region and was stood down until a veterinary clearance.

HALL CASH – Post-race sample. Checked at the 1300m when CAMSTAR ROAD galloped. 

EXCESS VITALITY – Late Scratching at 5:13pm by Order of Stewards due to continuing driverless before the event for an extended period. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions the front legs and was stood down until a veterinary clearance.

A LIL BIT OF LOVE – Checked at the 1300m when CAMSTAR ROAD galloped.

 

RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1640 metres

ALTA DOWNS – Hung in for much of the event when racing along the peg line and a warning was issued.

TAMANISHA TERROR – Galloped out and a warning was issued.

CARBAGANOOSH – Pre-race sample.
