RACE 1 – HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY PACE – 1609 metres

 

IRE OF THE DRAGON – Pre-race sample was taken.

IM FREYJA – when questioned regarding the tactics adopted and the overall performance driver T Ison explained. That after making some use of his drive in the initial stages to find a marker peg position commenced to over-race and elected to take cover. he added from that point his runner relaxed however when presented for a run over the concluding stages when clear running become available was disappointing.

DOUBLE LINES – Post race sample was taken.

WALLAROY BOY – Was examined pre-and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

 

RACE 2 – NORRIS HAIR & BEAUTY PACE  – 1609 metres

 

MAJOR DOODLE – Galloped out as the was effected. A warning was issued. hampered and raced roughly passing inside the 50 metres.

YOGI – pre-race samples was taken. Driver J Taaffe was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that over the concluding stages of the run to the finish shifted wider on the track without the required clearance over MAJOR DOODLE which was hampered and raced roughly for a short distance. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

NIGHTWATCH STAR - Was examined pre-and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

BODYLINE – post race samples was taken.

 

RACE 3 – RIPPIT GOLF PACE – 1609 metres

 

EYES BEEN PATIENT – Galloped out as the start was effected. A warning was issued. checked and raced roughly rounding the first turn.

DOUBLE SAID – Pre race sample was taken. Over-raced in the early and middle stages of the event as a result of contacting its own sulky. Hung out under pressure racing down the back straight on the final occasion and in the home straight on the final occasion. Warning was issued. post -race sample was taken.

 

SHEZA LENNY – Examined post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

JOHNNY DEE – Weakened over the concluding stages of the event to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

MISTER ARTIKULATE – Broke stride rounding the first turn. Was retired from the event rounding the final turn. Post race veterinarian examination revealed no abnormalities. Connections were advised that it would be stood down to one requalifying trial.

 

 

RACE 4 –SIGNATURE GARDENS PACE  – 1609 metres

 

LETTUCE GO MIKI – Broke stride rounding the final turn. Connections were advised that it would be stood down to 2 requalifying trials and stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.

ARMA SPORTSGIRL – Hampered rounding the final turn.

SHADOW ECLIPSE – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Post race sample was taken.

WAR WESTERN – Pre race sample was taken.

THIPENNY – Hampered rounding the final turn.

SIR CANDY CLOUD – Broke stride after the start was effected. a warning was issued. raced roughly rounding the final turn.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR – Checked and broke stride rounding the final turn.

 

RACE 5 –RED REVELLERS PACE – 1609 metres

 

ROCKNROLL WILLY – Weakened over the concluding stages in addition to racing roughly racing rounding the final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Connections were advised that it would be stood down to one requalifying trial.

CAPTAIN DORIAN – Post race sample was taken.

JUSTAWARRIOR – Pre race sample was taken.

 

RACE 6 – HAWKES NEST PROBUS CLUB PACE  – 1609 metres

 

SINBINNED – Post race sample was taken.

VAN SHARD – Had a tendency to over-race in the middle stages of the event. Momentarily hung out rounding the final turn.

MISTER POVERTY – Hung in whilst under pressure rounding the final turn.

WESTERN RIKI – Pre race samples was taken.

ULTIMATE RHAPSODY – Over-raced in the early stages of the event was placed in restricted room rounding the final turn and ultimately was checked and broke stride when to the inside of MISTER POVERTY and to the outside Of VAN SHARD. Stewards noted the was movement from both runners inside and out and reminded drivers to take care in all circumstances and reported the incident. Was Reincluded in the mobile barrier draw.

 

 

RACE 7 – THE TABB APP PACE  – 1609 metres

 

HUNGER STRIKE – Trainer R Alchin was fined the sum of $50 under rule 210 for the late declaration of A Delosa as the driver. Post race sample was taken.

STEALTH BOMBA NZ – had a tendency to race roughly rounding the first turn when being restrained.

MULLUM ROXY – pre-race sample was taken. Held up for clear running rounding the final turn.

 

RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE  – 1609 metres

ULTRA BLISS – Raced roughly under pressure passing the 100 metres. A warning was issued. cast its near side hind plate during the event.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH – was examined pre- and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormality reported.

BAT MATSON – Pre race sample was taken.

MCCRIKEY NZ – Post race sample was taken.

FIRST STRING – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.
