RACE 1 – JMA LEGAL PACE – 2170 metres
NIXSUN – Post-race swab sampled.
HAPPY TOO YA – Pre-race swab sampled.
MARDIBRINGSAPARTY – Over-raced while leading during the middle stages of the event.
ABRAHAM – Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued. Broke gait free of interference near the 400 metres, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be stood down from racing for a period of 14 days and would be required to perform 2 re-qualifying trials.
RACE 2 – PHOENIX ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS SERVICES PACE – 1760 metres
MOST CERTAIN MICKY – Hung-in under pressure rounding the home turn.
THE MOUNTAIN – Post-race swab sampled.
I LIKA STYLE – Pre-race swab sampled. Out of position at the start, given it was in position during the middle part of the score-up and the speed of the mobile during the latter stages, no action was taken.
SOKYS FALCON – Out of position at the start, given it was in position during the middle part of the score-up and the speed of the mobile during the latter stages, no action was taken.
BILLEES JET – Broke gait free of interference near the 400 metres, for which a warning was issued.
RACE 3 – MONSTER PLANT SALE PACE – 1760 metres
HEZ ON THE BUZZER NZ – Pre-race swab sampled.
TINTINS TREASURE – Post-race swab sampled.
CENTREFIRE – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
SOMEBODYS GIRL – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.
RACE 4 – GAYNOR'S SPREADING SERVICES WAGGA PACE – 1760 metres
MAYWYNS LA NINA – Post-race swab sampled.
QUICKSHIFT GIRL – Driver F Schmetzer was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that leaving the 400 metres she shifted the mare out when not sufficiently clear of ZOLTON which was inconvenienced.
I WANNA DANCE – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
ZOLTON – Shifted out near the 800 metres taking LUVERBOY wider. At a subsequent inquiry Driver J Brown pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(b)(i) for making another runner cover more ground prior to the point where permitted to do so in that near the 800 metres he shifted his runner out when not clear of LUVERBOY which was forced out to a four wide position. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account J Brown’s guilty plea, his relatively good driving record with regards to this rule and the particular circumstances of the incident. Driver J Brown had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of 10 days. Inconvenienced leaving the 400 metres when QUICKSHIFT GIRL shifted out.
LUVERBOY – Pre-race swab sampled. Inconvenienced near the 1200 metres when the pace eased. Taken wider and inconvenienced near the 800 metres when ZOLTON shifted out. Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.
RACE 5 – MILBRAE QUARRIES PACE – 2170 metres
IM BELIEBER – Pre-race swab sampled.
LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Over-raced while racing outside the leader during the middle stages of the event.
A DUSTY DANCE – Started from outside the front row after being placed outside the mobile barrier draw at Dubbo on the 23rd of March after the fields for tonight’s meeting had been published. Trainer/Driver M Hewitt was fined $100 under Rule 273(5)(a) for presenting the mare to race wearing the incorrect saddlecloth number. Hung in during the score-up and was out of position at the start, connections were advised that it would continue to be placed outside the draw in mobile start races. Checked leaving the 1000 metres when NEEDBEE and DEEBO locked wheels.
SNEAK A PEEK NZ – Inconvenienced leaving the 1000 metres when NEEDBEE and DEEBO locked wheels. Post-race swab sampled.
THANKS BE TO GOD – Checked leaving the 1000 metres when NEEDBEE and DEEBO locked wheels.
CHASING THE WIND – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
NEEDBEE – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event. Locked wheels with DEEBO leaving the 1000 metres and was checked.
DEEBO – Hung-out marginally and locked wheels with NEEDBEE leaving the 1000 metres and was checked.
RACE 6 – JUDDS HORSE SUPPLIES PACE – 1760 metres
WEENEEDDREAMS – Driver S Adams was questioned regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, which appeared to have an easy run behind the leader but failed to run on in the home straight, she stated that she was disappointed with it. She added that it travelled okay but was off the bit when she got it in clear running and did not respond to her urgings, she did add that it may have been in season, which may have effected it.

CLASSIC BEESMACK – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 7 – JUNEE HOTEL PACE – 1760 metres
NIFTY JOLT – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start. Pre-race swab sampled.
KAMENDABLE FEELING – Declared a late scratching at 3.59pm on Vet’s advice.
GOODTIME JAZZI – Post-race swab sampled.
BLACK ART NZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old, and was cleared to start.
BLUES TERROR – Sulky wheel contacted by I AM THE TORNADO near the 400 metres.
I AM THE TORNADO – Contacted the sulky wheel of BLUES TERROR near 400 metres, and was checked and broke gait. At a subsequent inquiry, Driver J Turner pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that near 400 metres, he attempted to take a run between BLUES TERROR and EYES FOR DOLLARS where there was insufficient room and made insufficient effort to prevent his runner from contacting the sulky wheel of BLUES TERROR. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account J Turner’s guilty plea, his good driving record with regards to this rule, and the particular circumstances of the incident. Driver J Turner had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of 7 days.
RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1760 metres
SEASIDE BALL GOWN – Pre-race swab sampled.
JUST LIKA DREAM – Raced greenly at various stages throughout the race. Hung-out under pressure in the home straight.
RUSTY VEEJAY – Held up for clear running until near the 50 metres.
TINNYSMEDAD – Out of position at the start at the second attempt to start the race, given the circumstances no action was taken. Inconvenienced near the 100 metres when JUST LIKA DREAM shifted out.
KRISTYSGIRL – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event. Inconvenienced behind the tiring TINNYSMEDAD approaching the 400 metres.
VALDEZZ – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared, for which a warning was issued. Driver F Schmetzer was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using her whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight. Post-race swab sampled.
BELIEVEITWHENICIT – Hung in during the score-up and was out of position at the start, connections were advised that it would continue to be placed outside the draw in mobile start races. Tired over the concluding stages and beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised the gelding would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.
