RACE 1 – MULGOA RD JAZZ 12PM @ CLUB PACEWAY APRIL 6 PACE – 1720 metres
RADIANT AMBER – Post-race swab sample.
NOTHINGBUTWAVES – Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start for which a warning was issued. Took no competitive part in the event.
MADAZALWAYS – Checked after the start when NOTHINGBUTWAVES broke gait.
TIMELY SOVEREIGN – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 2125 metres
JUS BLING IT – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before obtaining a run to the inside of EYEKNOW.
EYEKNOW – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1700 metres before surrendering the lead passing the 1600 metres. Shifted out slightly in the home straight allowing JUS BLING IT to obtain a run to the inside.
SET UP – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1600 metres. Post-race swab sample.
ROCKSIE ROCK – Had a tendency to over race throughout the event.
RACE 3 – AUSSIE NIGHT MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND APR 6 LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres
HONOLULU PRINCESS – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1400 metres.
TIGER EUPHEME – Pre-race blood sample. Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1300 metres.
STELLINA – Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sample.
JACQUELINE ROSE NZ – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1350 metres. Commenced to give ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 32.1 metres.
SKYE MARY MAC NZ – Trainers Dean & Kerry McDowell were fined the sum of $50 under Rule 210 for failing to advise Declan Murphy as the driver of the mare by the prescribed time.
CRACKABRIE NZ – Checked between the 400 and 200 metres as a result of JACQUELINE ROSE NZ giving ground.
PLAYFUL MISS – Checked from the 400 metres and held up for clear running in the home straight as a result of JACQUELINE ROSE NZ giving ground.
CHARLIES ACE NZ – Commenced to improve three wide from the 800 metres.
RACE 4 – PENRITH RSL SUB-BRANCH PACE – 2125 metres
KATES VIRTUE – Galloped out for which a warning was issued. Held up in the latter stages of the home straight.
BOBBY WATERHOUSE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Approaching the 200 metres hung in and contacted a marker peg and raced roughly.
MAID OF MONEY NZ – Checked between the 400 and 200 metres as a result of ROYAL VINCENT giving ground. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages.
ROYAL VINCENT – Caught wide early before working forward to a position outside the leader at the 1800 metres. Commenced to give ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 28.1 metres.
POLKA DELIGHT NZ – Caught wide early before being restrained to a position in the running line passing the 1800 metres.
IMA QUEEN BEE – Checked after the start as a result of KATES VIRTUE galloping out.
PRINCE OF PEACE – Commenced to improve three wide from the 1500 metres before working forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.
DAN FERNANDO NZ - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 5 – COLLECTOR PLANT FAIR APR 12 & 13 PACE – 1720 metres
SHADES OF HEAVEN – Checked between the 600 and 400 metres as a result of PELIGROSO tiring from the event.
PELIGROSO – Commenced to tire from the 600 metres before being beaten 55.7 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled and as a result will be stood down for a period of 3 months, a clear veterinary certificate and one requalifying trial.
MR TEDDY NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.
THE TAX CULLECTOR – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1200 metres.
THE METAL FLYER – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to a rearward position passing the 1400 metres. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
DOUBLE ACT – Had a tendency to over race throughout the event. Held up for clear running and not fully tested.
JOE NIEN – Pre-race blood sample. A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Post-race swab sample.
LOCHINVAR JAG – Commenced to improve three wide from the 1200 metres before finding the position outside the leader at the 1000 metres.
RACE 6 – THE MANAGEMENT EDGE RTO PACE – 1720 metres
THERES WALLY – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1450 metres. Post-race swab sample.
WEAREALLALONE – Pre-race blood sample. Caught wide early before working forward to a position outside the leader at the 1400 metres.
COLIN BROMAC NZ – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1150 metres.
NITRO DANNY – Held up for clear running in the home straight until passing the 150 metres.
LOCKITINEDDY – Commenced to improve three wide from the 900 metres.
RACE 7 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres
COULDNT CATCH HIM – Pre-race blood sample. Passing the 1500 metres had its off side sulky wheel when VESPA STRIDE was moving away from the marker pegs.
IM NO GIFT – Driver Vaughan Duncan was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that when racing in a three wide position from approximately the 1400 metres until passing the 1200 metres Mr Duncan has shifted in and placed GO TESS GO and IMA SHINKANSEN into restricted room.
GO TESS GO – Tightened between the 1350 metres and 1200 metres as a result of IM NO GIFT shifting down the track.
IMA SHINKANSEN – Tightened approaching the 1200 metres as a result of IM NO GIFT putting GO TESS GO into restricted room which in turn shifted down the track and tightened IMA SHINKANSEN. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
VESPA STRIDE – Driver Cameron Hart was issued a reprimand under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that passing the 1500 metres when attempting to move the gelding wider on the track VESPA STRIDE hung in and contacted the off side sulky of COULDNT CATCH HIM and raced roughly.
DYNAMITES BEST – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 8 – PENRITH MAZDA PACE – 1720 metres
IM BILLS LAST NZ – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.
FIFTYSHADES CRESCO – Pre-race blood sample.
CLEMENTSORELL - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
LANI KAI BEACH - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Caught wide early before being restrained in the early stages to the rear of the field passing the 1300 metres.
GREY CADILLAC – Caught wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1400 metres and again working forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.
CROWN MOJO – Checked after the start as a result of IM BILLS LAST NZ breaking after the start. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
SILENT REACTION – Delayed the start for approximately 5 minutes as the gelding had a flat tyre resulting in the sulky needing to be changed.
