RACE 1 – MAX ORMAN 3D PAINTS AND GORDON ROADWAYS PACE – 1760 metres

TOUGH TALKS – Post-race swab sample.

MONTANA NIGHTS – Broke stride for a short distance shortly after the start was effected. A warning was issued.

IAMNOPET – Broke stride in the early stage of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued.

SWEET SUNSHINE – Fractious in the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued.

SAFE JEWELS – Pre-race blood sample. Hampered in the middle stages of the score up.

 

RACE 2 – RICHARDS STEELYARD METALAND AND C L DICINSON HEAT ONE – 1760 metres

HEAVENLY TURBO – Pre-race blood sample.

MY ULTIMATE HUGO – Broke stride as the field negotiated the first turn. A warning was issued.

ULTIMATE EMPIRE – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – WESTERN NAMOI VET SERVICES AND TATTERSALLS HOTEL HEAT TWO – 1760 metres

LIMOUSINE TOMMY – Post-race swab sample.

DANCIN WITH LUSH – Had a tendency to hang out at various stages of the event and shifted ground under pressure up the track upon entry to the home straight for the run to the finish. A warning was issued.

WHENS LUNCH – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 4 – NARRABRI FARM CENTRE AND TAPSCOTTS SERVICE STATION HEAT ONE – 2160 metres

OTIS RISING – Post-race swab sample.

THREE PARTS GREY – Driver C Shepherdson was cautioned in relation to when rounding the first turn he eased the pace whilst in the running line and hampered the running of OHWHATIWOULDGIVE (B Elder) and ROLAMAX (S Ison). Broke the number one carrying strap on the off side front  as the field passed the 700 metres and was retired from the event. The gear was inspected and found to be of suitable quality and no action was taken.

ZACHAROONI – Pre-race blood sample.

ROLAMAX – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Hampered rounding the first turn.

KATASTROPHEE – Hampered as the field negotiated the first turn.

OHWHATIWOULDGIVE – Hampered as the field negotiated the first turn and raced roughly for a short distance.

 

RACE 5 – NAMOI HOTEL AND BOTTLESHOP AND KELLYS CAR SALES HEAT TWO – 2160 metres

Prior to the declaration of all clear connections of MY ROCK MOVES requested to view the patrol footage in relation to being placed in restricted room over the final 100 metres. Upon that review and also consideration from the Stewards, no direct action was taken in relation to the placings and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

MARKSMAN – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

RIPPIN GOOD FEELIN – Stewards questioned Driver C Griffiths in relation to the tactics adopted in particular the early stages of the event prior to entering the first turn. Driver C Griffiths explained that shortly after the start was effected the second line runner LONGWINDINGROAD was able to progress through to his inside which left him racing in a three wide position. Stewards noted his comments and advised that greater judgement in terms of tempo and finding a position early in events needs to be displayed moving forward.

MY ROCK MOVES – Tightened for running racing down the home straight on the final occasion when racing to the inside of LUCKY BEACH BOY and to the outside of RIPPIN RUPERT.

LUCKY BEACH BOY – Checked as the field raced to the 700 metres when trailing the weakening MARKSMAN. Post-race swab sample.

RIPPIN RUPERT – Pre-race blood sample. Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Upon request from connections was re-included into the mobile barrier draw. Had a tendency to hang out whilst under pressure over the concluding stages and restricted the racing room of MY ROCK MOVES. Connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance to race truly.

 

RACE 6 – J AND H WINDSCREENS AND C G J ALUMINIUM AND GLASS HEAT THREE – 2160 metres

LOOKAT MEE – Pre-race blood sample.

METRO MEMORY – Broke stride shortly after the start was effected. A warning was issued. Looked to make a forward move 3 wide mid race, was left racing wide and was obliged to be restrained to the rear of the field. Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance. A warning was issued.

RAINBOW JET – Post-race swab sample.

ANNIE CROKER – Was out of position as the start was effected despite the best efforts from its driver. No direct action was taken due to the speed of the mobile during the score up.

 

RACE 7 – DAISY WATER CARRIER RAYMOND SHEPHERDSON MEMORIAL – 2560 metres

PARATROUPER – Pre-race blood sample.

FAST TRACKER – Post-race swab sample. Driver B Hughes was cautioned in relation to the manner in which he applied the whip in particular the frequency in which it was applied and the action.
