RACE 1 – GALLAGHER LITTLE RED JUG FRIDAY MAY 30 PACE – 2120 METRES

CATHS IN DENIAL - Pre-race blood test.

YARRAMAN KAYLOU - Over race throughout the event. Approaching the 1300 metres became unbalanced veered out and broke gait, in view of the overall manners of the mare YARRAMAN KAYLOU was stood down for one re-qualifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

YARRAMAN JOLT – Driver Olivia Frisby was questioned in relation to the overall performance of the gelding, after leading and failing to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 9.6 metres. Ms Frisby stated the gelding worked harder than anticipated in the early stages and may not be suited to being driven forward with aggression over 2120 metres.

RIP ROCK - Checked passing the 1000 metres as a result of YARRAMAN KAYLOU breaking gait.

PLAYBOI ROY - Checked passing the 1000 metres as a result of YARRAMAN KAYLOU breaking gait. Post-race swab.

WHY NOTT - Broke in the score up was out of position at the start. Given the geldings recent record WHY NOTT will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Took no competitive part in the event.

TASBMIKI – Commenced to improve three wide from the 1500 metres before finding a position outside the leader at the 1400 metres. Approaching the 1000 metres was checked and broke as a result of YARRAMAN KAYLOU breaking gait.

NIXSUN - Approaching 1000 metres checked as a result of YARRAMAN KAYLOU breaking gait and as a result was forced to race in a three wide position for the remainder of the event.

SEVEN TEE TWO – Commenced to improve three wide at the 1550 before finding position outside the leader at the 1300 metres. Approaching the 400 metres when attempting to shift wider on the track had a tendency to hang in and was reluctant to shift away from the marker pegs resulting in the colt being inconvenienced held up for clear running.

 

 

RACE 2 – ZOO FM PACE – 2120 METRES

MITCHELLS RUN - Pre-race blood test.

TULHURST TIMMY - Slow to begin from the mobile and was out of position at the start which a warning was issued.

ROLL TO THE TOP - Post-race swab.

SATELLITE SIMBA - Caught wide early before working forward to a position outside the leader at the 1800 metres.

POTTER - Held up in the early stages of the home straight before obtaining a run to the inside of MITCHELLS RUN.

BURRABADINE BULLET - The all clear was delayed to determine if the gelding had been afforded a fair start, after TULHURST TIMMY was slow to begin and was out of position which resulted in BURRABADINE BULLET being one length out of its position at release point. Upon review of the films and taking evidence from Olivia Frisby, who stated that it was her intentions if possible to race BURRABADINE BULLET on the marker line and as a result of TULHURST TIMMY being out of position the gelding was able to be positioned in a marker line position three back which didn't have a detriment effect to its performance and as a result BURRABADINE BULLET was declared a runner. Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

WARRAWEE FLYER - Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

 

 

RACE 3 – JLE PACE - 1720 METRES

OUR SAILOR - Post-race swab.

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE - Hung out approaching the 750 metres.

DOING - Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

TULHURST PEBBLES - Inconvenienced approaching the 750 metres as a result of SPRINGFIELD DESIRE hanging out.

LENNOX BROMAC NZ - Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

BURNING HOT - Over raced throughout the event.

LADY ROCKABELLUM - Pre-race blood test. Hung in at various stages of the event.

 

 

RACE 4 – WESTERN PLAINS GRANITE PACE - 1720 METRES

WATCHMEDAZZLE - Over raced throughout the event. Post-race swab.

PLEASE DONT ASK - Declared a late scratching at 8:19pm as a result of the mare being reluctant to go onto the race track, as a result PLEASE DONT ASK was stood down until it can complete one re-qualifying trial.

BOHEMIAN BRAWLER - Had a tendency to over race when racing in a position outside the leader.

TERRYRAMA - Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

WEONA SIR VIVOR - Past the 1600 metres had its offside sulky wheel contacted and flattened and was retired from the event.

MISTERFOURTHOUSAND – Driver Olivia Frisby was fined the sum of $200 under rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that passing the 1600 metres shifted down the track when not clear of the offside sulky wheel of WEONA SIR VIVOR resulting in the wheel being contacted and flattened. Driver Olivia Frisby was questioned in relation to the driving tactics adopted on the gelding after Commencing to improve three wide from the 1400 metres and continued to race three wide before tiring over the concluding stages to be beaten 50.7 metres. Ms Frisby stated it was her intention to drive the gelding forward however, when she did improve three wide BOHEMIAN BRAWLER which was racing the position outside the leader commenced to over race and as a result MISTERFOURTHOUSAND was stuck in a three wide racing position.

KOSIMO - Pre-race blood test. Claimed from the event and as a result was also post-race swabbed.

 

 

RACE 5 – PACING FOR PINK PACE – 2120 METRES

AIR BORN - Pre-race blood test. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1550 metres.

TRUE LOGIC - Post-race swab.

SANDERS - Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

ROCKIN SWEET - Commenced at tire at the 500 metres before being beaten 100.5 metres. In view of the geldings performance ROCKIN SWEET will be required to perform one re-qualifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

 

 

 

RACE 6 – THE SHIRE BAR & GRILL PACE - 1720 METRES

IRK MCGLURK - Caught wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field approaching the 1300 metres.

MONTANA NIGHTS - Driver Jye Coney was find the sum of $200 under a 156(7) for the manner in which he used his whip from the 550 to the 400 metres, in that he allowed his whip to protrude from outside the confines of the sulky making contact with the near side sulky disk.

WHATABOUTBRONSON - Caught wide early before working forward to position outside the leader approaching the 1200 metres.

GOOD CHAT - Post-race swab.

THE RINGMASTER - Pre-race blood test.

 

 

 

RACE 7 – CLUB DUBBO PACE – 1720 METRES

MISS PIPPA – Obtained a run to the inside of VINYGETSACHANCE. Post-race swab.

VINYGETSACHANCE - Pre-race blood test. Shifted out under pressure for which a warning was issued.

ROCKNROLL BLING - Driver Graham Betts plead guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that passing 300 metres he has allowed ROCKNROLL BLING to shift wider on the track when not sufficiently clear of BODELETOS causing that runner to be checked and break gait. Driver Graham Betts had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of seven days to commence midnight the 23rd of May 2025. In assessing penalty stewards considered Mr Betts plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of the incident

BODELETOS - Approaching 300 metres was checked and broke as a result of ROCKNROLL BLING shifting wider on the track.

 

 

 

RACE 8 – THE TAB APP PACE - 1720 METRES

ALWAYS BE LUCKY - Over raced throughout the event. Rounding the final turn hung in under pressure.

BEAUTIFULLY PUT - Over raced throughout the event.

MAMMALS REASON - Post-race swab.

FOR A DREAM - Fractious in the early part of the score up for which a warning was issued.

SOHO BETTY DEE - Pre-race blood test. Three wide early before working forward to the position outside the leader at the 1300 metres.
