RACE 1 – BARKERS BUTCHERY MEAT RAFFLE JUNE 4TH PACE – 1730 metres
MOTHER WAS A MUDDA – Pre-race blood sample.
SWEET NATE – Post-race swab sample.
IM LORD TOMMY – Inconvenienced at the 800 metres when trailing SOMETHING FOR LEXY who had raced roughly.
SOMETHING FOR LEXY – Leaving the 800 metres raced roughly for a short distance and inconvenienced IM LORD TOMMY and BELLAGANOOSH.
BELLAGANOOSH – Leaving the 800 metres was inconvenienced as a result of SOMETHING FOR LEXY racing roughly.
RACE 2 – UP THE BLUES PACE – 2260 metres
HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – Driver J Turnbull was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion has done so with more than a wrist flicking action.
EXCESS VITALITY – Post-race swab sample.
FLASH AZARAT – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 3 – BLINDS BY DESIGN PACE – 1730 metres
UNCLE TONY – Driver A Frisby was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(c)(i) in that prior to utilising the sprint lane on the final occasion, has raced inside the final marker peg. When assessing this incident, Stewards were of the opinion UNCLE TONY had not gained any advantage when racing to the inside of the marker peg prior to the sprint lane.
MERAKI – Pre-race blood sample.
TENMINUTES – Driver J Coney was queried on the gelding’s overall performance which gave ground over the final 300 metres and finished in 7th position beaten 13.4 metres. Mr Coney stated the gelding being a three-year-old and having risen through the grades and the fast early tempo was detrimental to the horse’s overall performance.
MIGHTY FLYING ART NZ – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – RELIANCE BANK PACE – 2260 metres
DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Hung in in the latter stages of the score up and as a result broke stride and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.
POPS LEGACY – Had a tendency to race roughly shortly after the start.
IM DESIRABLE – Pre-race blood sample.
NO LUCK – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – BATHURST RSL PACE – 1730 metres
HES CHIMING – An inquiry into driver J O'Shea tactics over the final 300 metres was opened; after taking initial evidence the inquiry was adjourned to a date to be fixed. Furthermore, J O’Shea was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when entering the home straight on the final occasion he has shifted his runner wider placing BETTOR KEPPEL in restricted racing room and as a result raced roughly for a short distance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

BETTOR KEPPEL – When leaving the 300 metres was placed in restricted racing room when HES CHIMING hung out and as a result raced roughly for a short distance.
PAS DE CHEVAL – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 6 – MOORHEAD CRANES PACE – 1730 metres
HAZZA IS WATCHING – Driver J Coney was queried on the gelding’s overall performance when finishing in 7th position beaten 19.6 metres ($2.40 fav). Mr Coney stated when racing outside the leader during the early stages he was of the opinion the lead may be available and made a short challenge for that position but when IDEAL DENNY failed to surrender that spot was obliged to race outside the lead which proved detrimental to his overall performance.
TULHURST TIMMY – Driver P Betts was cautioned on her whip use in the home straight on the final occasion.
IDEAL DENNY – Driver T Bullock was queried on the gelding’s overall performance after leading the event, he gave ground over the concluding 300 metres to finish in 10th and last position beaten 26.4 metres. Mr Bullock could give no reasonable explanation for the poor performance of the gelding which travelled comfortably until the 300 metres and when placed under pressure failed to respond.

WESTERN BILL – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 7 – NUTRIEN STANDARDBREDS PACE – 1730 metres
MOVES LIKE MIKI – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare has not raced since 3 April 2024. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Slow to begin when the start was effected.
LIVE VANCE – Pre-race blood sample.
A TRUE LOVE – Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR ARK – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. The mare will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts. As a result of breaking strideA took no competitive part in the race.
MIGHT AND VICTORY – Pre-race blood sample. Driver W Rixon was fined $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to bring his drive into position prior to the start.
RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP PACE – 1730 metres
FOZZ - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has not raced since 22 March 2024. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Slow to begin when the start was effected. Pre-race blood sample. Had a tendency to race roughly under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion. Post-race swab sample.
GRANT FOR LEXY – Driver B Medlyn could give no reasonable explanation for the gelding tiring over the concluding stages to finish in 9th position beaten 72.5 metres. The gelding was given its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow post-race recovery.
OUR LAST GRIN – Broke stride as the start was effected. A warning was issued. Took no competitive part in the race.
OUR BIG BEE – At the request of connections, the gelding will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.
