RACE 1 – HOLLINGWORTH CRANE HIRE SERVICE MAIDEN PACE – 1710 metres

KERVONBEL – Pre-race sample. Tired to be beaten 59m and a warning was issued.

IMALLATTITUDE – Trainer K Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gear for the gelding notified. Paced roughly and shifted out leaving the front straight with one lap to travel. ROREY JAY which was trailing was inconvenienced and shifted wider on the track. A warning was issued against the racing manners of IMALLATTITUDE.

LUNAR WITCH – Trainer J Powderly was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the gear for the filly notified. When leading race greenly a various stages before hanging in over the final 200m and contacting marker pegs. In assessing the previous racing manners of the filly, a warning was issued.

HEAVENS PLEASURE – Pre-race sample.

ROREY JAY – Inconvenienced when trailing IMALLATTITIUDE which paced roughly leaving the front straight with one lap to travel. 

IM A SNIPER – Galloped out and in assessing the recent barrier manners of the gelding was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

TRIED AND TRUSTED – Post-race sample.

 

RACE 2 – SUN SOLUTIONS HOME IMPROVEMENT GOULBURN TROTTERS MOBILE – 1710 metres

General – The start of this event was delayed due to a gear alteration being conducted on MAJORETTE NZ.

ONAWINGANDAPRAYER – Gave ground rounding the final bend to be beaten 44m and inconvenienced DOLLYS LAW which was trailing.

SPEAKS VOLUMES – Pre-race sample.

MYSTERY LOVE – Tired to be beaten 71.5m and a warning was issued.

PESCO POLLO – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having not started in a race since September 2023. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

DONNIE GAL – Trainer R Cernovskis was fined $100 under Rule 273(5)(a) for presenting the runner into the parade ring wearing the incorrect saddle cloth number.

DOLLYS LAW – Inconvenienced rounding the final bend when trailing ONAWINGANDAPRAYER which was giving ground.

MAJORETTE NZ – Tired to be beaten in excess of 100m and in assessing the previous racing record of the filly, connections were advised that MAJORETTE NZ would be stood down for two satisfactory trials and for a period of 14 days.

 

RACE 3 – BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS NSW PACE – 1710 metres

CLEMENTSORRELL – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding attaining the age of 14yrs & starting in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Pre-race sample.

GOODTIME MIKI – Hung out rounding the final turn when racing along the peg line. Held up for clear racing room in the home straight on the final occasion and was never able to be fully tested in the run to the finish.

THE MALDIVES – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding attaining the age of 13yrs & starting in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Pre-race sample.

LITTLE CESSNA – Post-race sample.

BETTOR BE LUCKY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

 

RACE 4 – DAYS INDUSTRIAL PACE – 1710 metres

General – The start of this race was initially delayed due to a gear alteration being conducted on FAVOURED GRACE. A further delay was initiated when Driver R Alchin advised the starter of a gear malfunction on FAVOURED GRACE and as result a false start was declared.

IDEAL ANDY – Initially showed gate speed before pacing roughly. Had a tendency to hang in racing into the first turn.

HOMEBOUND – Inconvenienced rounding the final turn when trailing TIME TO DANCE NZ when that runner was giving ground in advance.

HEAVENS GOTTA WAIT – Pre-race sample.

TIME TO DANCE NZ – Pre-race sample.

FLYING COLOURS NZ – Post-race sample.

 

 

RACE 5 – FIRST NATIONAL REAL ESTATE GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

JUST ROCKNROLL – Pre-race sample.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY – Post-race sample.

PADDY MACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN SOLUTIONS GOULBURN PACE - 2240 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed owing to ONE MORE ALTA having its saddle cloth replaced after being presented to the start wearing the incorrect saddle cloth number.  

WAZOWSKI – Pre-race sample.

HIGHLANDS WARRIOR – Pre-race sample. Sulky contacted shortly after the start when ONE MORE ALTA was over racing and attempting to gain a position behind HIGHLANDS WARRIOR. Post-race sample.

ONE MORE ALTA – Trainer K Morris was fined $100 under Rule 273(5)(a) for presenting the runner with the incorrect saddle cloth number. Over-raced during the early stages and contacted the outside sulky wheel of HIGHLANDS WARRIOR when being positioned in a trailing position behind that runner. Driver J Gallagher added that his runner was unable to finish the race off competitively due to over racing throughout the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. ONE MORE ALTA was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

 

RACE 7 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1710 metres

NIFTY AMBITION – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

MEGS MONARO – Pre-race sample.

SKY CITY NZ – Post-race sample.

ALL STAR MAGICIAN – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Jostled for a position in the two wide line rounding the first turn with ROSES ARE BEST. Tired to be beaten 69m and a warning was issued. Driver L Green advised that connections were disappointed with the performance of ALL STAR MAGICIAN and would be re-assessing the racing future of the gelding.

ROSES ARE BEST – Jostled for a position in the two wide line rounding the first turn with ALL STAR MAGICIAN after being caught racing wide on the track.

RACE 8 – GOULBURN SOLDIERS CLUB PACE – 1710 metres

PLAYA BLANCA – Pre-race sample.

KHULAN KID – Galloped in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of KHULAN KID. Trailed the field for the entire.

MIKIBEQUICK – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
