RACE 1 – HYLAND HARNESS GEAR TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

RIOTERRA – Inconvenienced at the 400m when trailing RED KERMIT when that runner galloped in advance.

MARIA THERESA NZ – Declared a late scratching at 12:02pm by Order of Stewards.

JINAN – Galloped clear of interference at the 400m and a warning was issued against the racing manners.

RED KERMIT – Led the event before galloping clear of interference at the 400m, inconvenienced RIOTERRA which was trailing.  A warning was issued against the racing manners of RED KERMIT.

BERTINELLI – Post-race sample.

KENNYWOULD – Galloped clear of interference at the 100m and a warning was issued.

ORIA – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 2 – AGNES BANKS DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed due to HES A HAMMER requiring farrier attention.

EWING – Held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages and unable to be fully tested close to the finish line.

PESCO POLLO – Post-race sample.

MACKEL SONNY – Galloped out and in assessing the recent barrier manners of the gelding it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

HES A HAMMER – Galloped clear of interference leaving the 400m. In assessing the previous racing manners of the gelding, it was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

PROHIBITED LOVE – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 3 – LUCK OF THE IRISH PACE – 1609 metres

TIGERLICIOUS – Pre-race sample.

DEVILS BLING – Near side sulky tyre contacted at the 900m when WATCHING OVER US, which was over racing and trailing, veered out and made contact.

LONGTAN VIPER – Post-race sample.

WATCHING OVER US – Out of position at the start and a warning was issued. Over-raced in the early stages before veering out and contacting the near side tyre of DEVILS BLING at the 900m. Paced roughly at this stage and lost contact with the main body of the field. Driver B McDonough explained that due to over-racing in the early stages he felt that WATCHING OVER US may have choked down after making a respiratory noise. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. WATCHING OVER US was placed on its last chance to race truly.

 

RACE 4 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metres

General – The start of this race was delayed due to WATCH AFRICANDANCE requiring farrier attention.

VIOLET HANOVER – Galloped out and a warning was issued against the barrier manners. Trailed the field for the entire.

SUGAR PIE HONEY – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

 

RACE 5 – PRYDES EXCEPTIONAL ALWAYS PACE – 1609 metres

PUPPETEER – Post-race sample.

LARRIKIN LENNY – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 6 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES PACE – 1609 metres

FARFALLA STRIDE – Pre-race sample. Held up for clear racing room and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish. 

THERES WALLY – Post-race sample.

 

RACE 7 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1609 metres

SINALOA – Held up for clear racing room and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish. 

MYTH YOU ALREADY – Pre-race sample.

TRIED AND TRUSTED – It was reported post-race that the off-side knee boot had dropped during the event.

MAC BON – Tightened for racing room over the concluding stages when JETTER SON shifted in under pressure.

SOHO GUNSLINGER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to not having started in a race since March 2024. Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late notification of himself as the driver of the gelding. Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 for failing to have the gear for this gelding recorded. Post-race sample.

JETTER SON – Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages tightening the racing room of MAC BON, which was racing to the inside of JETTER SON.

 

RACE 8 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres

HUTA NZ – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

OUR UNCLE JIM – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
