RACE 1 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES PACE – 1609 metres
WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Had a tendency to hang out whilst under pressure over the concluding stages. A warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.
WHAT FOR – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.
SPECIALIZE LOU – Broke stride during the early stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued.
SPEARHEAD – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 2 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres
OUR LUCILLE – Was checked and broke stride as the field entered the first turn.
NOWORRIES – Driver B Greenwood was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when shifting wider on the track shortly after entering the home straight for the run to the finish hampered the running of HALLOWEEN (B Abbott).
MYSTICAL SUNSHINE – Broke stride racing into the back straight on the final occasion. Connections were advised MYSTICAL SUNSHINE would be stood down to one requalifying trial.
EYES BEEN PATIENT – Pre-race blood sample.
HALLOWEEN – Hampered shortly after entering the home straight for the run to the finish.
GUNFIGHTERSGHOST – Post-race swab sample.
TACKAS PRINCESS – Driver G Panella was found guilty of a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after the start was effected the tempo had come out of the race and in the opinion of the Stewards failed to establish a position to the inside of MYSTICAL SUNSHINE was directed down the track and driven along in an attempt to find the position behind the leader however failed to have sufficient clearance over OUR LUCILLE whereas a result that runner was checked and broke stride. G Panella’s licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 18 days. When considering penalty, Stewards took into account the frequency in which she competes, record in relation to interference and other subjective factors.
RACE 3 – GLOBAL BRANDS LIQUOR PACE – 1609 metres
SLINGSHOT – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.
DOUBLE SAID – Had a tendency to over race throughout the early stages of the event and had a tendency to hang out at various stages in particular racing down the back straight and over the concluding stages where it continued to shift ground up the track significantly despite the best efforts of its driver. Connections were advised that given its recent record would be asked to trial on one occasion. Post-race swab sample.
DANIEL BOOM – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 4 – SOMERSET MEATS PACE – 1609 metres
CHARJO – Post-race swab sample.
SHALAMAR MISS – Slow away as the start was effected.
NEVER KNOW BLAZE – Pre-race blood sample.
JACKS UP - Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.
RACE 5 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres
WILL I AM – Pre-race blood sample.
NIFTY STUDLEIGH - Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.
EIFFEL FROM HEAVEN – Out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued. Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to be displaying lameness in front. On veterinary advice was stood down pending a veterinary certificate of fitness in addition to a stand down from racing for a period of 28 days. Connections were also advised one requalifying trial would need to be completed prior to racing again.

WATSLUVGOTTADO – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.
RACE 6 – SHARP OFFICE PACE – 1609 metres
ROCK DE ARK – Checked as the field negotiated the first turn.
KINGSTON RAINBOW – Pre-race blood sample.
LILS NIGHTMARE NZ – Post-race swab sample.
STEALTH BOMBA NZ – Broke stride as the field entered the first turn. A warning was issued.
SWEET ROCKY – Hampered rounding the first turn.
SINBINNED – Hampered rounding the first turn.
WHEREISHE – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.
RACE 7 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres
CHEDDAR VALLEY – Post-race swab sample.
MAJOR MICKEY – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres
PAYTONS ROCK NZ – Raced roughly in the latter stages of the score up. Driver J Coney was fined $200 under Rule 168(1)(a) for failing to have sufficient control of her runner rounding the final turn where as a result raced up onto the near side wheel of ZEN MASTER which sustained a puncture and placed that runner at a disadvantage over the concluding stages.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF – Pre-race blood sample.
ZEN MASTER – Sustained contact to the near side wheel resulting in a puncture rounding the final turn placing it at a disadvantage over the concluding stages.
CAPTAIN BLOOD – Post-race swab sample.
