RACE 1 – BINGO @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY WEDNESDAY PACE – 1720 metres
POLKA DELIGHT NZ – Post-race swab sample.
DESIDERIO – Shifted out under pressure inside the final 150 metres.
FAY IRENE – Pre-race blood sample. Over raced during the early and middle stages. Hung in under pressure shortly after straightening. The all clear of this event was delayed to allow Stewards the opportunity to review the available replays in relation to driver Matthew Atkinson raising his hand to alert the starter of a gear issue prior to the start being affected. It was subsequently established that immediately prior to the start being affected Mr Atkinson raised his hand due to the rein becoming entangled with the sulky shaft. It was further established that this issue was rectified shortly after the start which Mr Atkinson explained resulted in this occurrence having no bearing on the overall performance of FAY IRENE. Considering all of the circumstances, and mindful that FAY IRENE finished in 4th placing, the all clear was given.
SURF ACE – Tightened prior to straightening when FLO RYDA NZ shifted out.
LORD MEMNOCK – Broke clear of interference passing the 1600 metres. A warning was issued. Held up inside the final 200 metres.
FLO RYDA NZ – Held up rounding the final turn. Driver Vaughan Duncan was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after passing the 200 metres he permitted FLO RYDA NZ to shift out when not quite clear of SURF ACE resulting in that runner being tightened.
ROCKNROLL GIG – Inconvenienced passing the 150 metres when DESIDERIO shifted out.
ADMIRABLE NZ – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

MISTER QUIRK – Pre-race blood sample.

ETERNAL GOLD – Held up inside the final 100 metres.
CHARLIES ACE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 5 – CRYSTAL FEST @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND OCT 25-26 PACE – 2125 metres
TIGER PRINCE – Pre-race blood sample. Stewards inquired into the reasons for TIGER PRINCE appearing to be tightened and subsequently being checked and breaking gait shortly after passing the 400 metres. After taking evidence from drivers Cameron Hart (TIGER PRINCE), Seaton Grima (MR TEDDY NZ) and review of the available replays it was established that shortly after passing the 400 metres MR TEDDY NZ commenced to hang in and despite the efforts of its driver continued to shift in resulting in TIGER PRINCE being tightened, contacting marker pegs and subsequently making contact with the sulky of MR TEDDY NZ resulting in TIGER PRINCE being checked and breaking gait. In all of the circumstances Stewards could not apportion any blame on Mr Grima, however placed a warning on the record MR TEDDY NZ.
SET UP – Post-race swab sample.
MR TEDDY NZ – Hung in and tightened TIGER PRINCE passing the 400 metres resulting in that runner breaking gait. A warning was subsequently placed on the record of MR TEDDY NZ.

Given the colt’s recent poor record FRANCO LOU will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile start events. Hung in approaching the 1500 metres against the efforts of its driver resulting in TENNESSE KID being tightened and pacing roughly. In view of the recent poor record of FRANCO LOU the colt will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of Stewards. It was further noted FRANCO LOU continued to hang in approaching the 1400 metres resulting in the colt contacting marker pegs.
GO TESS GO – Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 36 metres. A warning was issued.
IM THE SNIPER – Broke clear of interference passing the 900 metres and in view of the gelding’s recent poor record it will now be stood down from racing until trailing to the satisfaction of Stewards.
