RACE 1 – WETHERILL PARK INDUSTRIAL PACE – 2300 metres

ALTA WILLIAM – Pre-race blood sample.

VAN BASTEN – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1700 metres. Post-race swab sample.

MONTALBANO – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1900 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 200 metres.

HUTA NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stage of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres

RACE 2 – KARI J C CAFFYN PLATE (PENALTY EXEMPT EVENT) – 1609 metres

OBADIAH DRAGON NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

MR TEDDY NZ – Inconvenienced after the start when CATCHAFIRE NZ hung in. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1000 metres.

CATCHAFIRE NZ – Hung in after the start and inconvenienced MR TEDDY NZ. Post-race swab sample.

IDEAL MARQUESS – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 3 – KIDMAN WAY CITRUS PACE – 1609 metres

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA – Pre-race blood sample.

MICHAYWEY – Post-race swab sample.

HEZ DUSTY – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

RACE 4 – KINGSTEAD LODGE LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the mare has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

ISLA ROCHELLE – Retired from the event approaching the 1100 metres as a result of sustaining a flat sulky tyre in the run to the first turn when GOODTIME LIBBY was restrained and shifted down the track.

IDEAL IN DREAMS – Pre-race blood sample.

TOKYO ROSE NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stage of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

WHILEMENA RITA – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 5 – AIRCLEAN FILTERS STEVE TURNBULL XMAS GIFT FINAL – 1609 metres

HELLUVA NZ – Withdrawn by Stewards acting on the request of the Trainer at 8.04pm who reported a trickle of blood being found in the horse’s nostril whilst in the stabling area.

PETES SAID SO NZ – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

RAKERO ROCKET NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

DON HUGO – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 800 metres. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 7 – TRILOGY HOMES 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

SMIRKIN SERENE – Placed in restricted room in the run to the first turn and contacted a number of marker pegs when WITHDISTINCTION was shifted down the track to the lead of the event. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

WAT EVER YOU NEED – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

MILLI ME – Pre-race blood sample.

PEACE OUT – Pre-race blood sample.

SOVEREIGN PLACE – Hung in during the latter stages of the score up.

WITHDISTINCTION – Driver Cameron Hart was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that he shifted WITHDISTINCTION down the track to the lead of the event in the run to the first turn when not sufficiently clear of SMIRKIN SERENE causing that runner to be placed in restricted room and contact a number of marker pegs.

RACE 8 – OZ CUT WHOLESALE MEATS PACE – 1609 metres

OOGA CHAKA – Pre-race blood sample.

ROYAL DIVISION – Caught racing wide in the early stage of the event before working forward to the lead approaching the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre-race blood sample.
