RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres

SMART AND MIGHTY NZ – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

SPUNKYS GOT SECRETS – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

LOUIE DADA – Driver G Panella was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to maintain her position on the mobile prior to the start being affected.

 

RACE 2 – BONVILLA ESTATE WINES LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

RAINBOWSEND – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

FRANKIROMAR – Pre-race sample was taken.  Broke stride as the field negotiated the final turn.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on two occasions in addition to a stand down from racing for a period of 14 days.

ONEDINS CRUSADE – Had a tendency to hang in throughout various stages of the event.

WAT EVER YOU NEED – Driver J Daskalovski was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(j) for failing to come up into position prior to the start being affected.  Further driver J Daskalovski was also admonished in relation to taking an extra circle during the pre-race formation when called up for the start leaving her a distance from the field as they moved up towards the mobile barrier and the urgency in which she presented.  No further action was taken due to her inexperience.  Hampered as the field negotiated the final turn.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

KEILOR BABY SHARK – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 3 – SHARP OFFICE PACE – 1609 metres

YESNOMAYBESO – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

BREXITT – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  

ABSTRACT ART – Pre-race sample was taken. 

LOVE LOU – Post-race sample was taken.

GISSELLE – Had a tendency to race roughly leaving the back straight when manoeuvred to a three wide position.

 

RACE 4 – COCA COLA PACE – 2030 metres

PET KITTY – Pre-race sample was taken. 

BAT MATSON – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

COOL NIGHT – Driver J Coney was reprimanded under rule 170(1)(a) for allowing his left foot to drop below the foot rest as the field negotiated the final turn.  Post-race sample was taken.

BETTERTHANFEDERER – Had a tendency to over race during the early and middle stages of the event. 

 

RACE 5 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres

PORT AU PRINCE NZ – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

DIDSHEDOIT NZ – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

SAINT CRUSADER – Post-race sample was taken.

APPLIED NZ – Pre-race sample was taken. 

 

RACE 6 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres

WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 

DEECEE ROCKIN – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

SPIRIT KING – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

DOUBLE SAID – Re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 7 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES PACE – 1609 metres

WATSLUVTOTTADO – Pre-race sample was taken. 

PENURIOUS – Had a tendency to hang in during the score up and was out of position as the start was affected.  A warning was issued.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

BETTATHANMOZARELLA – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

CHLOBRO – A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 8 – THE TAB APP PACE – 2030 metres

SLICK AND SUAVE – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  A warning was issued against the performance.

HUNTER STRIDE – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to race greenly when manoeuvring three wide racing down the back straight on the final occasion and raced roughly rounding the final turn.  Post-race sample was taken.

SZWANEN – Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event and contacted marker pegs.  Connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance to race truly.
