RACE 1 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES PACE – 2030 metres
TRIED AND TRUSTED – Pre-race blood sample. Hung out rounding the home turn.
ROCKNROLL CLARRY – Hung out when placed under pressure in the home straight.
WHENS LUNCH – Crowded momentarily rounding the home turn when racing outside TRIED AND TRUSTED and had to be steadied.
BETTATHANMOZARELLA – post-race swab sample.
SZWANEN – Hung in inside the 600 metres and was difficult to drive. Following required satisfactory performance connections were advised that the gelding is now be eligible to take its place in the mobile barrier draw.
GOODTIME MIKI – Hung out rounding the turn after the start and raced roughly for a short distance. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record. Held up in the home straight and unable to be driven to the finish with full vigour.
RACE 2 – TOOHEYS PACE – 2030 metres
DOUBLE SAID – Pre-race blood sample.
LOUIGI – Weakened noticeably inside the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
LOUIE DADA – Raced roughly for a short distance approaching the home turn when tightened between DOUBLE SAID which shifted out marginally and RAINBOWSEND which shifted in slightly when hanging in.
SWEET ROCKY – Post-race swab sample.
DE LA RENTA NZ – Unable to obtain clear running in the early part of the home straight.
RAINBOWSEND – Hung in for some distance inside the 300 metres and after making slight contact with LOUIE DADA broke stride and galloped.
EIFFEL FROM HEAVEN – Raced in restricted room and was unable to be driven forward approaching and rounding the home turn.
RACE 3 – GLOBAL BRANDS LIQUOR PACE – 2030 metres
JUNIOR WARFARE – Pre-race blood sample.
BE GOOD BENNY – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.
HIDDEN DELIGHT NZ – When questioned in relation to the performance driver J Callaghan explained, that despite racing with cover, his drive failed to at any stage of the race and after being placed under pressure inside the 600 metres ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. Mr Callaghan was unable to indicate a future racing program for the mare and said that connections would be consulted in relation to continuing a racing preparation. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
WALLAROYBOY – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.
BREXITT – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.
NIFTY STUDLEIGH – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – SOMERSET MEATS PACE – 1609 metres
MERSADIES – When questioned in relation to the performance trainer/driver D Spencer explained, that it had not been his pre-race intention to lead however when the early pace in the race was moderate, he assumed that position and the mare over raced. He said that when placed under pressure inside the 400 metres its condition gave out and it ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Spencer was advised that a poor performance warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.
GO TESS GO – Broke stride free of any external factors shortly after the start and galloped for some distance before being restrained. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.
TWO TICKS NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres
OUTMAZING NZ – Broke stride free of any external factors approaching the home turn and galloped for some distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be uneven in its gait in front. Trainer/driver Mr S Grima said that OUTMAZING NZ would leave his stable.

OBADIAH DRAGON NZ – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 6 – SHARP OFFICE PACE – 2030 metres
MAJOR MICKEY – Raced in restricted room approaching and rounding the home turn.
FAY IRENE – Pulled hard during the middle stages.
JOANS RISING STAR NZ – Post-race swab sample.
ALWAYS PROMISE ME – When questioned in relation to the performance trainer/driver Mr M Formosa explained, that after being slow away at the start ALWAYS PROMISE ME obtained a position at the rear of the field and trailed THE CID throughout. He said that inside the 500 metres when THE CID improved he was able to maintain its back, however inside the 400 metres his drive was under pressure and when THE CID improved rounding the home turn he was unable to continue to go forward with it and was disappointing in its finishing effort. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
OUR IDEAL DREAM NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.
RACE 7 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres
CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ – Held up in the early part of the home straight and had to be shifted in approaching the 100 metres to go forward.
ELOUISA DALE NZ – Weakened inside the 150 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
GOODTIME BRAVO – Post-race swab sample.
YESNOMAYBESO – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres.
BAD HABITS NZ – Pre-race blood sample. When questioned in relation to the performance trainer/driver Mr S Grima explained that he was obliged to drive with vigour after the start to maintain the lead and after achieving this the gelding failed to travel at any stage and ran to the finish in a disappointing manner despite his urgings. He said that being placed under extended pressure after the start was a significant factor in the poor performance and whilst BAD HABITS held an engagement at Menangle 20/1/26, its recovery would be monitored before fulfilling it. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
HAY THERE JOE – Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.
APPLIED NZ – Pulled hard during the middle stages. Post-race swab sample.
ITZMINEONTHELINE – Hampered during the early section of the score up and was slightly out of position at the start.
LACEYS LAD NZ – Had to be steadied for some distance inside the 300 metres when racing behind the weakening BAD HABITS NZ.
