RACE 1 – RELIANCE BANK PACE – 2260 metres

 

CHELSEAS GIRL – Fractious in the early part of the score-up.

SHAZADELE – Post-race swab sampled.

ZARAS SPECIAL – Pre-race swab sampled.

HOPPALONGPOG – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

THEYCALLMEBRUCE – Hung-out entering the first turn.

 

RACE 2 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1730 metres

 

SHES DUNNA RUNNA – Trainer M Rue was fined $50 under Rule 210 for not declaring a Driver for the mare by the required time. Broke gait under pressure approaching the 100 metres, for which a warning was issued.

MARABELLE – Driver T Higgs was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that near the 100 metres he shifted the mare out when not sufficiently clear of ALWAYSATTHEBEACH which was inconvenienced.

ALWAYSATTHEBEACH – Inconvenienced near the 100 metres when MARABELLE shifted out.

RIVIERE – Post-race swab sampled.

SAVAGE STORM – Pre-race swab sampled.

SHAUN SHANNON – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 3 – FINAL GOLD CROWN PAYMENTS DUE THIS FRIDAY PACE – 1730 metres

 

TULHURST PEBBLES – Pre-race swab sampled. Gave ground over the concluding stages, when questioned regarding the performance, Driver A Hurst stated that the mare was not suited by the quick time run in tonight’s race. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

CENTREFIRE – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.

LIVE VANCE – Broke gait free of interference leaving the 1400 metres, for which a warning was issued.

TEARIN UP THE SAND – Broke gait free of interference near the 600 metres, for which a warning was issued.

FUNDA – Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 4 – THANK YOU WINDSOR'S AUTOMOTIVE PACE – 1730 metres

 

DUN SPRUIKIN – Pre-race swab sampled.

MCLEAN – Post-race swab sampled.

FOLLOW THE ECLIPSE – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.

 

RACE 5 – CLUB MEMBERS BADGE DRAW PACE – 2260 metres

 

MAMMALS ALIBI – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

FLIPTOP BOTTLESHOP – Over-raced while leading during the middle stages of the event. Gave ground over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Turnbull stated that the gelding pulled too hard while leading over the longer distance of tonight’s race. He added that he felt he was going to be able to get it to come back to him near the 1200 metres however when HES CHIMING improved to his outside approaching the 1000 metres it grabbed the bit once again. He added that they would attempt to race it over races of shorter distances going forward or drive it more conservatively if possible if racing in the longer distance races.

HES CHIMING – Pre-race swab sampled. Successfully claimed. Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 6 – THANK YOU BATHURST LIONS CLUB 3YO PACE – 1730 metres

 

SINFUL KISS – Pre-race swab sampled.

BILLS SWAN SONG – Tightened for room momentarily upon entering the home straight between MAMMALS JEWEL and RUFFIAN, both of which shifted ground.

WISHAS DARLING NZ – Hung-in under pressure in the home straight. Post-race swab sampled.

ARTISTIC GALAXY – Trainer K Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the filly's gear accurately recorded.

RUFFIAN – Hung-in under pressure in the early part of the home straight.

 

RACE 7 – THANK YOU LLOWALONG FARMS CHALICE SPONSORS 2YO PACE – 1730 metres

 

SYD THE KID Broke gait free of interference near the 200 metres, given it was the gelding’s first race start connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

WALLABY WAY – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared. Driver P Betts was found guilty of a charge under Rule 162(1)(d) for delaying the start, in that she made insufficient effort to restrain the filly while it was galloping in the score-up resulting in it causing interference to KING SHOOBEE and the false start being declared. P Betts was fined the sum of $200. Broke gait after the start, given the circumstances connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.

BIRDSONG – Trainer K Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have the filly's gear accurately recorded. Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 8 – WELCOME WHIDDON VILLAGE KELSO PACE – 1730 metres

 

MISS HALLIE – Inconvenienced approaching the 100 metres when SHEER ME shifted out.

SHEER ME – Pre-race swab sampled. Driver W Rixon was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that approaching the 100 metres he shifted the mare out when not sufficiently clear of MISS HALLIE which was inconvenienced.

MAJOR JEWEL – Hung-out near the 200 metres and under pressure in the home straight.

SATELLITE SKY – Post-race swab sampled.

BABLING BABLING – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight. Raced in restricted room leaving the 100 metres and locked wheel stays with BRAMANTE. Driver J Turnbull was issued with a reprimand under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving in that leaving the 100 metres he attempted a run where there was insufficient room between MAJOR JEWEL and BRAMANTE resulting in his runner locking wheel stays with BRAMANTE.

BRAMANTE – Out of position at the start, as it was the horse’s first race start, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the draw.

FURIOUS BART – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it was having its first race start in over 12 months, and cleared to start. Out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued. Driver E Turnbull was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, she stated that she was a little disappointed with the way it finished the race off given the run it had. She added that the stable had expected a forward showing tonight if it had a favourable run and felt it would take benefit from the run.

 

RACE 9 – BLUEPRINT SIGNS PACE – 1730 metres

 

LOOKOUT NZ – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

TIGERNATOR – Pre-race swab sampled.

RIVERINA FLASH – Post-race swab sampled.
