RACE 1 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1740 metres
LEWENDON – Post-race swab sampled.
UNCLE CRAIGO – Shifted out under pressure in the early part of the home straight. Driver D Cernovskis was issued with a reprimand under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving in that he made insufficient effort to prevent his runner from shifting out.
KRISTYSGIRL – Hung-in momentarily after the start.
YANKEE BABE – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 2 – DANIEL WOODS FUNERAL CARE PACE – 1740 metres
THE BANKER NZ – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the race.
HES A TERROR – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.
BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.
SOKYS FALCON – Post-race swab sampled.
OAK RIDGE – Pre-race swab sampled. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the race.
RACE 3 – TAYLOR MAURER REMAX ELITE 3YO PACE – 1740 metres
SHEZ NO STRANGER – Pre-race swab sampled.
STAYSEA – Contacted a marker peg upon entering the home straight.
ATOMIK FERGIE – Hung-in near the 800 metres. Raced ungenerously at stages from near the 800 metres to leaving the 400 metres.
RUFFIAN – Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 4 – POSEIDON ANIMAL HEALTH PACE – 1740 metres
CHANCETOWIN – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.
CAPTAIN CORBIE – Post-race swab sampled.
TINNYSMEDAD – Driver R White was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight.
SAPPHIRE BOY – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.
ALICES SWEETHEART NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Broke gait after the start, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.
SHEER ME – Inconvenienced near the 1200 metres when the pace eased.
RACE 5 – H FRANCIS & CO PACE – 2270 metres
MAJOR HAYLEY – Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race Veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormalities, although it was reported that it had a slower than normal recovery. Trainer/Driver T Gilligan was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, he stated he was disappointed with its run as was confident of a forward showing today. He added that it was the mare’s third run in just under three weeks and she may not have been able to handle that. He further added the heat may have had an effect on her, and he was likely to give her a bit of a freshen up prior to her next run.
FRENCH STREET – Post-race swab sampled.
CAPTAIN DEEJAY – Contacted the sulky wheel of CAPTAIN PINNACLE near the 100 metres, when that runner shifted-out, and was checked and raced roughly.
CAPTAIN PINNACLE – Checked near the 100 metres, when MAJOR HAYLEY shifted out slightly when attempting a run between that runner and CAPTAIN DEEJAY, and as a result raced roughly and shifted-out, and CAPTAIN DEEJAY contacted its sulky wheel.
WARIEDA BOY – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 6 – SETTLERS VILLAGE PACE – 2270 metres
FE FE ON FIRE – Driver P McRae was queried regarding the seemingly improved performance of the mare, he stated that he felt the mare was probably down in grade somewhat from her recent starts and she does have a quick sprint, which he was able to use today after obtaining cover in the early stages with the race run to suit. Post-race swab sampled.

RACE 7 – RIVERINA ENSUITE HIRE PACE – 1740 metres
MURPHYS REWARD NZ – Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event. Driver C Rauchenberger was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, she stated that the stable was confident of a forward showing, however she felt it may be better suited on the smaller tracks. A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be suffering from the thumps.

RACE 8 – BOOTS CIVIL ENGINEERING WARATAH HEAT – 1740 metres
CORTEZ –A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormalities
ASTRAL STRIDE – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane.
FARFALLA STRIDE – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 9 – SMALLMON BROTHERS WASTE & RECYCLING PACE – 1740 metres
TIZZY LIZZIE – Pre-race swab sampled. Hung-in rounding the home turn. Post-race swab sampled.
IM ALRITE – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane. Held up over the concluding stages of the race.
NOWHERENEAR CRAZY – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.
RACE 10 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres
CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old, and was cleared to start. Post-race swab sampled.
KIMCANDO – Pre-race swab sampled.
