KALKADOON DREAMING – Pre-race blood test. Broke in the score up and caused a false start for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab.
SPRING DELIGHT – Driver Blake Micallef was questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance of the gelding having raced outside the leader and giving ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 28.5 metres. Mr Micallef stated SPRING DELIGHT had cast a plate early in the race and paced ungenerously. A post-race veterinary examination revealed SPRING DELIGHT to be mildly lame in the near side front foot and as a result was stood down pending a veterinary certificate and for a period of seven days.

RACE 4 – KOHNKE’S OWN POWER & PROTECT PACE – 1760 metres
FEELGOOD RAY – Pre-race blood test. Trainer Jason Turner was questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance of the gelding. Mr Turner explained the gelding is somewhat one paced and was able to find the position outside the leader, and also felt the race was a drop in grade which contributed to the performance. Post-race swab.
ILLUSTRATION – At the request of connections will be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 5 – KOHNKE’S OWN HARNESS SPECIAL PACE – 1760 metres
NEEDBEE – Post-race swab.
HES CHIMING – Trainer Nathan Turnbull was fined the sum of $100 under rule 273(5)(a) for presenting the gelding in the incorrect saddle cloth number. HES CHIMING was successfully claimed from the event and as a result was post-race swabbed.

MAJOR TRANSPARENCY – Refused to score up in the first attempt of the score up and the start was aborted, before being fractious and refusing again in the second attempt at the score up. Out of position at the start and was ultimately retired from the event. Given the overall manners of MAJOR TRANSPARENCY the mare will now be drawn right out of the draw in mobile starts, also will be required to perform two requalifying trials and stood down for a period of 14 days in which both trials are to be conducted in front of a HRNSW Steward.
JUST GO JOE – At the request of connections will be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
BETTORS MAGIC – Driver Jackson Painting was fined the sum of $100 under rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum timing sectionals after running the first half of the event in 66.5 seconds.

GLAMORS SYMBOL – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Shortly after the start was tightened for racing room as a result of I LIKA STYLE shifting down the track.
BLUES TERROR – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
CAPITALLEE – Post-race swab.
I LIKA STYLE – Driver Todd Day was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn he has permitted the mare to shift down the track when not sufficiently clear of GLAMORS SYMBOL placing that runner into restricted room.
SPREAD THE FEAR – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.
SOCIAL STATUS – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

MURIEL – Pre-race blood test. Post-race swab.
LIFE GETS BETTER – Driver Jackson Painting was questioned regarding the below market expectation performance of the mare. Starting at $1.65 fav and securing a favourable run with cover LIFE GETS BETTER failed to run on to be beaten 15.6 metres into 7th place. Mr Painting explained he was surprised the mare was so short in an even race and felt LIFE GETS BETTER performed consistent with recent form.
