RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

KARINYA HAZ – Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

BEANCOUNTER – Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up. A warning was issued.

HALL CASH – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1720 metres

NEVERTOOLATE – Leaving the 150 metres when held up for clear racing room  jostled for a short distance with GLENN FORD NZ when attempting to obtain clear running and as a result has locked wheels and was inconvenienced. As there was minimal shift from both runners, no further action was taken.

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE – Driver J Turnbull was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when leaving the 150 metres when shifting wider to obtain clear running has placed WHATABOUTBRONSON in restricted racing room and as a result has broken stride.  BURRABADINE BULLET`s contribution was taken into consideration when assessing the incident.

WHATABOUTBRONSON – When leaving the 150 metres was tightened when racing between SPRINGFIELD DESIRE and BURRABADINE BULLET when both runners shifted and as a result the gelding broke stride.

CHILLAX – Inconvenienced at the 100 metres after contacting the sulky of DIAMOND BIKINI which was checked as a result GLENN FORD NZ and NEVERTOOLATE locking wheels.

DIAMOND BIKINI – Sulky was contacted and was inconvenienced because of GLENN FORD NZ and NEVERTOOLATE locking wheels.

GLENN FORD NZ – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Pre-race blood sample. Leaving the 150 metres  jostled with NEVERTOOLATE when that runner was looking to obtain clear running and as a result was inconvenienced when locking wheels. As there was minimal shift from both runners, no further action was taken.

BURRABADINE BULLET – Leaving the 150 metres tended to hang in and as a result has contributed to the tightening of WHATABOUTBRONSON who broke stride. A warning was placed on the gelding’s racing manners. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – ZOO FM PACE – 1720 metres

HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Leaving the 300 metres was tightened when contacting marker pegs when improving to the inside of IM BELIEBER and a short distance later when both runners shifted slightly, HOOKED ON WINNING NZ was checked and broke stride.

LOYOLA GOLF – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MAMMALS REASON – Leaving the 300 metres was checked because of HOOKED ON WINNING NZ breaking stride.

IM BELIEBER – Galloped out when the start was affected. Considering the gelding’s recent record, it will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts. Leaving the 300 metres, hung in marginally tightening the racing room of HOOKED ON WINNING NZ who a short time later made contact to the sulky and broke stride. As no one horse or driver could be solely to blame for this incident, no further action was taken.

FESTINALENTE – Leaving the 300 metres was checked and broke because of HOOKED ON WINNING NZ breaking stride.

 

RACE 4 – KYLE BARNES MEMORIAL – 2120 metres

BILLS SWAN SONG – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

CALM FRANCO – Negotiating the first turn three wide, raced roughly for a short distance as a result has hung in tightening the racing room of YESNOLETSGO and RUSTY VEEJAY. A warning was placed on the gelding’s racing manners.

DOSHI – Leaving the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

RUSTY VEEJAY – Negotiating the first turn was checked when placed in restricted racing room because of CALM FRANCO racing rough and hanging in. The gelding began to give ground from the 1400 metres until being retired from the event from the 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have had a bilateral nosebleed for the first time and as a result was stood down a veterinary clearance, stood down for three months and must also requalify on one occasion prior to racing.

YESNOLETSGO – Negotiating the first turn was inconvenienced when tightened because of CALM FRANCO racing roughly and hanging in.

 

RACE 5 – GILGANDRA WINDMILL TROPHY LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres

SATELLITE SKY – Post-race swab sample.

JOSIE MINT – Gave ground over the final 400 metres to finish in 10th and last position beaten 39.8 metres.

THE HEATS ON LEXY – Fractious when leaving the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

SHOOBEES SUNSET – Negotiating the first turn hung in and as a result VALDEZZ was inconvenienced.

TULHURST TOOT TOOT – Broke stride at the 100 metres. A warning was issued. It was also noted the gelding broke a number one carrying strap.

VALDEZZ – Inconvenienced when negotiating the first turn when racing to the inside of SHOOBEES SUNSET who had hung in.

LAST FLITE – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 6 – ORANA WOOL AND SCRAP METAL PACE – 1720 metres

IRK MCGLURK – Entering the home straight on the final occasion was inconvenienced when jostling with PEAKSART for a short distance.

TULHURST ELVIS – Raced roughly shortly after the start was affected. A warning was issued.

BREXITT – A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding is 12 years of age. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

HALL MOST AN ANGEL – Post-race swab sample.

PEAKSART - Pre-race blood sample. Entering the home straight on the final occasion was inconvenienced when jostling with IRK MCGLURK when attempting to obtain clear running.

CAPITALEE – Held up for clear running room in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

 

RACE 7 – GALLAGHER PACE – 1720 metres

ENZED FLYER – Post-race swab sample.

ANDREW SWAGGER – Raced roughly shortly after the start was affected. A warning was issued.

MILLIONDOLLAR KISS – Gave ground over the final 300 metres to finish in 9th position beaten 42,9 metres.

TENEACHWAY – Leaving the 1400 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

KARINYA MAX – Gave ground over the final 300 metres to finish in 10th and last position beaten 46.4 metres.

GOOD CHAT – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 8 – HOT TO TROT CANTEEN PACE – 2120 metres

STUCKINAFENCE – Slow to begin when the start was affected.

SAM THE MAN – Over raced throughout the event.

MAMMALS JEWEL – Post-race swab sample.

BODELETOS – Gave ground over the final 300 metres to finish in 9th position beaten 53.3 metres. A warning was placed on the performance of the gelding.

HESONTARGET – Pre-race blood sample. Gave ground over the final 300 metres to finish in 10th and last position beaten 63.8 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding’s record.

HOODLUM TURF – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has not started since January 2025. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Leaving the 100 metres raced rough for a short distance. at the request of connections, the gelding will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.
