RACE 1 – LITTLE WYCH GOLD BRACELET HEAT ONE – 1730 metres

WILLOWS GIRL – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.

ONE MORE REASON – Broke gait under pressure inside the final 200m. A warning was issued against the racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 2 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT ONE – 1730 metres

TOLLSA KING – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the colt to have a superficial corneal ulceration. TOLLSA KING received precautionary treatment on course & was stood down for a period of seven (7) days.

SOHO CHARMER – Post-race swab.

IM NO TROUBLE – Pre-race swab.

RACE 3 – LITTLE WYCH GOLD BRACELET HEAT TWO – 1730 metres

SMOOTH JESSIE – Broke gait passing the 1400m shifting outwards abruptly contacting the sulky wheel of EYE WISH.

EYE WISH – Pre-race swab. Sulky contacted passing the 1400m when SMOOTH JESSIE broke gait and shifted outwards abruptly.

HIGHINDELIGHT – Driver Will Rixon was issued a caution for the manner he shifted ground passing the 400m which inconvenienced COCOS DESIRE.

LAMNA NASUS – Stewards approved Mat Rue as the late drive change upon the filly due to Jason Gaffney being indisposed. Mr Gaffney will require a medical clearance prior to driving again. Inconvenienced passing the 1000m when the speed in the event eased. Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 7^th position beaten 69.7m.

SPARKLING SEA – Inconvenienced passing the 1400m when SMOOTH JESSIE broke gait and shifted outwards abruptly. Post-race swab.

COCOS DESIRE – Broke gait during the score up and was out of position when the start was effected. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of COCOS DESIRE. Checked passing the 1000m when the speed in the event eased.

RACE 4– LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT TWO – 1730 metres

YOTTIE – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.

DYNAMITEDAN – Raced roughly passing the 400m.

DRAXON – Hung inwards despite the driver’s efforts passing the 700m and contacted marker pegs.

BENJAMIN – Raced roughly passing the 600m.

RACE 5 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT THREE – 1730 metres

MESSAGE BANK – Pre-race swab. Post-race swab.

USYK – ($3.40) Driver Nathan Jack was queried into the overall performance of the colt which finished in 8^th position beaten 24.5m after leading from the 1300m. Mr Jack advised he expected a forward performance from the colt as USYK was forth up from a spell however provided to be disappointing. Mr Jack contributed the performance to the colt having to be urged more than expected to obtain the lead after recording the first quarter in 26.5 seconds however believed the colt was able to have sufficient respite in recording the second quarter in 31.4 seconds. Mr Jack added he was satisfied to obtain a trial on MESSAGE BANK passing the 600m when the speed of the event increased however USYK was immediately placed under pressure and gave ground. Mr Jack advised the stable would consult with connections in regards to the racing future of USYK within the stable going forward. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to have a delayed recovery.

BEROCCA BERNIE – Contacted the sulky wheel of SOHO WASHINGTON and broke gait. A warning was issued against the racing manners of BEROCCA BERNIE.

SMOOTH BUCKAROO – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having not started in the preceding 12 months. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Back in mobile draw.

MISTER AMERICANO – Pre-race swab.

RACE 6 – LITTLE WYCH GOLD BRACELET HEAT THREE – 1730 metres

PARIS ROUGE – Hung outward after the start was effected. Broke gait passing the 300m. PARIS ROUGE will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion. In taking this action Stewards were mindful PARIS ROUGE was placed on its last chance to race truly at its most recent start for displaying similar racing manners.

MUSICSTAR – Yielded ground from the 400m to finish in 8^th position beaten 50.3m.

RIPPLES NZ – Post-race swab.

FORGIVE AND FORGET – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected & shifted outwards abruptly severely checking PERFECTDELIGHT. FORGIVE AND FORGET will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. In taking this action stewards were mindful the filly was place back in the draw at its most recent start.

PERFECTDELIGHT – Severely checked & broke gait shortly after the start was effected when FORGIVE AND FORGET broke gait and shifted outwards abruptly.

RACE 7 – LLOWALONG FARMS GOLD CHALICE HEAT FOUR – 1730 metres

YOU ARE MY WISH – Inconvenienced during the score up when HOLLYWOOD STRIP was pulling during the score up.

SLICK BY DESIGN – Sulky contacted during the score up by HOLLYWOOD STRIP.

HOLLYWOOD STRIP – Pre-race swab. Pulled hard during the early stages of the score up making contact to the sulky of SLICK BY DESIGN. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of HOLLYWOOD STRIP.  Post-race swab. 

YOU GOTTA BELIEVE – Broke gait clear of interference passing the 300m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of YOU GOTTA BELIEVE.
